A new Lara Croft Fortnite skin was rumored in March 2025, with leakers linking it to the game’s v34.10 update. The reports described a possible 2000s-era design, but Epic Games had not confirmed the rumor when contemporary coverage was published. The claim concerned a past update—not a current Fortnite release.
What the March 2025 reports claimed
On March 11, 2025, Insider Gaming attributed a claim to Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR that Lara Croft would arrive in connection with the then-live v34.10 update. Its report quoted the leaker’s description of her as “a globetrotting archaeologist with a penchant for dangerous adventures”; that was leaker wording, not an independently verified Epic Games description. Insider Gaming’s report also noted that it was unclear whether the claim referred to a new design or a return of the earlier skin.
Other March 2025 coverage pointed to a possible Angel of Darkness-era appearance. GameSpot attributed a similar claim to leaker SpushFNBR, while ComicBook.com said the reported name was “Lara Croft (2000s)” and also credited ShiinaBR. Was the skin confirmed by Epic?
No confirmation was reported in the contemporary coverage cited here. Radio Times stated on March 14, 2025, that Epic had not confirmed the rumor at that time. What price and bundle were reported?
Radio Times reported leak-based Item Shop details that placed the alleged skin in the shop on March 14, 2025. It gave a rumored individual price of 1,500 V-Bucks and a 2,200 V-Bucks bundle containing a pickaxe, back bling, wrap, and emote. These were unconfirmed figures and contents reported at the time—not verified prices or a current offer. GameSpot separately reported a possible 1,500 V-Bucks individual price, also attributing the information to a leaker.

Lara Croft had already appeared in Fortnite as a Chapter 2, Season 6 Battle Pass cosmetic in 2021. The March 2025 rumor did not clearly establish whether that version would return or whether players would receive a distinct 2000s-inspired design. The Angel of Darkness resemblance and “Lara Croft (2000s)” label came from leak coverage, not an official Epic description.
