Fortnite Live Event: How to Check the Start Time in Your Region

There is no future Fortnite live-event start time listed in Epic Games’ official Fortnite News feed as of October 8, 2026. Check that feed for a new announcement, then use the date and local time Epic gives for your region. The latest schedule covered here—the Shattered event—was for June 5, 2026, and has already passed.

How to find the next Fortnite live-event time

1. Open Epic Games’ Fortnite News feed and look for a new event announcement. The feed reviewed on October 8, 2026, showed a featured article dated October 1 and included the Shattered announcement from May 29 among its recent articles; it did not state a future live-event time.

2. Read the event announcement for the date and time in your region. Use that local date as well as the clock time: the event may fall on a different calendar day outside the United States.

3. Follow the announcement’s instructions for where to enter in-game. Do not assume a future event will use the same location as a previous one.

Why your local date can differ

Epic’s Shattered announcement gave the US schedule as June 5, 2026, with doors opening at 6:20 PM ET and the event beginning at 7:00 PM ET. Epic’s Italian version listed the event on June 6 at 01:00 local time, with doors at 00:20. Its Spanish-language announcement listed June 5 at 20:00 in Argentina and 17:00 in Mexico, with doors at 19:20 and 16:20, respectively.

Those are regional listings for the past Shattered event, not a schedule for an upcoming event. Check the local date and time in the new announcement rather than carrying over a previous event’s date or converting its US time by assumption. Epic’s Shattered announcement said the event would appear in Discover’s top row; that instruction was specific to Shattered.

What the countdown does—and does not tell you

The official material cited here does not explain how an in-game Fortnite event countdown works or establish that a countdown is currently present. It therefore does not support claims about when a countdown appears, how accurate it is, or exactly what it counts down to. Treat the event announcement as the source for the scheduled time and entry instructions.
