Magneto Power refers to the Magneto Gauntlets in Fortnite Battle Royale. During Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked, players could find them on the ground or in chests, then complete a two-page quest chain for the Wastelander Magneto Outfit and its Magneto Style. That quest event ended in August 2024; the official pages cited here do not confirm a current return.
Can you still get Magneto Power or do the Magneto quests?
Not through the 2024 quest event. Epic required the Wrecked Battle Pass for the Magneto quests and published a progression cutoff of August 16, 2024, at 2 AM ET. Epic’s Chapter 5 Season 3 announcement was updated to say the season and pass would end earlier, on August 15, 2024, at 11 PM ET. Both dates have passed. Epic’s cited announcements do not establish whether the quests or Gauntlets have returned since then.
Historically, the Gauntlets were a Battle Royale item found on the ground or in chests—not an item tied to a specific NPC route in Epic’s instructions. Epic described them as a weapon that launched metal shards at opponents and formed a shield for defense. They were not included in prized tournaments.
How the Magneto quest rewards worked
The quests were completable in Battle Royale, and the four quests on each page could be done in any order. You needed to finish any three quests on a page to claim its progression reward.

How to get Magneto Power during the event
- Enter Fortnite Battle Royale while the Wrecked Battle Pass and Magneto quest progression were active.
- Find Magneto Gauntlets as ground loot or in chests, then pick them up.
- Use the Gauntlets to complete the relevant quests. For the air-travel objective, keep them equipped while traveling; for the vehicle objective, hit vehicles with them.
