No new Fortnite Messi skin release tonight has been confirmed by the official sources available for October 8, 2026. Messi’s original Fortnite cosmetics launched in December 2024. The Item Shop listing displays Messi items, but its inventory and prices can change, so check the live in-game shop for current availability.
When did the Messi skins originally come out?
Epic’s announcements place the original launch in December 2024. Epic Games Japan’s announcement, published December 16, says Messi arrived on December 13. Epic Games France’s announcement, dated December 13, says he would arrive on December 14 at 1 a.m. local time. Those dates can reflect the local time-zone boundary rather than a conflicting launch.
Are the Messi skins in the Item Shop tonight?
The official Fortnite Item Shop listing displays Messi cosmetics, but it does not confirm a new release scheduled for October 8, 2026. The official Fortnite news archive surfaced other 2026 news, including an October 1 Fortnitemares article, but no Messi release announcement in the results checked. That absence is not proof Epic made no announcement elsewhere, and neither a third-party calendar nor a rumor establishes a return time.
Shop inventory rotates. Open Fortnite’s live Item Shop and check whether the items are currently available before making plans to buy them. Epic’s status page showed Fortnite and the Item Shop operational on October 7, 2026; that is a service-status update, not a Messi release announcement. See Epic Games Public Status.

What is included in the Messi skin release?
