Renegade Raider returned to Fortnite’s OG Season Shop in December 2024, but the offer was time-limited and ended January 31, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET. Players first had to earn 1,500,000 XP to unlock purchase access; the outfit was not a free XP reward. Epic’s announcement does not establish that the outfit is available now or has returned since.
What was in the OG Season Shop?
Epic Games announced that the OG Season Shop would include Renegade Raider, Aerial Assault Trooper, Raider’s Revenge, and Aerial Assault One. The items were offered inside Fortnite, not through the online Item Shop. The December 2024 announcement described Fortnite OG itself as “back and here to stay,” referring to the mode—not to this particular shop or its items. Epic’s December 5, 2024 Fortnite OG announcement and its OG Season Shop announcement document those separate points.
How did players unlock purchase access?
For Renegade Raider, Epic set the eligibility threshold at 1,500,000 XP. XP could be earned in any Fortnite experience that grants XP. Meeting that threshold unlocked the ability to purchase the outfit; it did not grant the outfit for free. Epic’s cited announcement does not state a V-Bucks price.
When did the offer end?
Epic announced that the OG Season Shop would close on January 31, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET. That cutoff applied to this historical offer. Fortnite OG’s announced persistent status does not make the December shop permanent. The official pages cited here do not establish whether Renegade Raider is currently available or whether it has returned since the shop closed.

Who received the Black & Gold style?
The Black & Gold variant was for players who bought Renegade Raider during its original 2017 release. Epic Support says qualifying original purchasers received the variant automatically when they logged into Fortnite. That eligibility was tied to the 2017 purchase; buying the outfit during its later OG Season Shop return did not qualify a player for the original-owner variant. See Epic Games Support’s explanation of the Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper variations.
