Fortnite update v39.10, released December 11, 2025, added six Morphite weapons and Map Mastery quests to Reload. Epic had also scheduled Fortnite OG Season 7 to return that day. Separate v39.10 ecosystem notes cover changes for creators and UEFN—not a broader Battle Royale patch list.

- Morphite Hand Cannon
- Morphite Pump Shotgun
- Morphite Tactical Shotgun
Morphite weapons upgrade through Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarity as you damage opponents during a match. Epic’s announcement does not specify damage thresholds, so there is no supported exact figure for how much damage triggers each upgrade.
Reload Map Mastery quests and rewards
Map Mastery quests span six Reload islands. Epic says progress can come from eliminations, reaching the Top 10, and earning Victory Royales across those islands. The quests count in both Ranked and Unranked Reload.

Fortnite OG Season 7: what the date confirms

The official material cited here does not confirm which individual Season 7 locations appeared with the update. A Beebom article names Polar Peak, Happy Hamlet, and Frosty Flights as returning winter locations, but those details are secondary reporting rather than confirmation in the reviewed Epic notes. Current availability of OG Season 7 is not established here.

Epic’s separate v39.10 ecosystem release notes describe creator-side features. They should not be mistaken for changes to standard Battle Royale matches.

The 2025 notes said publishing for experimental in-island transactions would not go live until v39.20 and gave January 9, 2026 as the planned date. That was the schedule at publication, not confirmation of the feature’s present availability.
Epic’s developer notes also report 23 new bricks in the Brick Editor—a creator-tool asset count, not a count of gameplay weapons.
