An August 2024 Fortnite leak named five crossover characters: X-Men’s Cyclops, Colossus and Jubilee, plus Dragon Ball’s Android 17 and Android 18. Epic’s official listing later confirmed the three X-Men as Fortnite cosmetics. The leak report forecast shop arrivals for the characters, but that forecast was not official confirmation; the sources available here do not establish whether the Dragon Ball outfits arrived or whether any of these cosmetics are in the Item Shop today.
Which characters did the Fortnite leak name?
On August 6, 2024, ComicBook.com reported that dataminers had found files for five characters after a Fortnite update. The report described them as heading to the Item Shop, but that was a leak-based forecast at the time, not an announcement from Epic.
| Franchise | Characters named | What the available evidence establishes |
|---|---|---|
| X-Men | Cyclops, Colossus and Jubilee | Epic’s official X-Men Bundle listing includes all three as Fortnite cosmetics. |
| Dragon Ball | Android 17 and Android 18 | The August 2024 report named both, but the official item listing reviewed here does not independently verify them. |
ComicBook.com’s August 6, 2024 report is the source for the original leak and its five names. Epic’s X-Men Bundle listing provides official confirmation for Cyclops, Colossus and Jubilee.
Did the leaked characters actually arrive?
Cyclops, Colossus and Jubilee
Yes: Epic’s X-Men Bundle page lists all three characters. That confirms they became Fortnite cosmetics, although the listing alone does not establish when each first appeared in the shop or whether the bundle is available now.

Android 17 and Android 18
The leak report named the two Dragon Ball characters, but the official listing reviewed for this article does not verify them. That is a limit of the available confirmation, not proof that the characters never appeared in Fortnite.
Were the predicted Item Shop dates official?
No. The August 2024 report framed the characters as expected soon based on leaked files. Those dates were forecasts circulating at publication, not confirmed release dates from Epic, and should not be treated as current or upcoming dates. A separate Epic policy announcement on August 7, 2024 concerned possible future additions of some Battle Pass items to the shop after at least 18 months; Epic did not guarantee any particular item. That policy does not confirm availability for these crossover cosmetics.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to check whether they are in the shop now
Fortnite’s Item Shop rotates, so a past appearance or a product listing does not guarantee that an outfit is available today. Epic Support says, “Our Item Shop constantly rotates Items,” and directs players to check the shop for items no longer listed. The support page does not confirm the present status of these specific cosmetics.
