That date was a leak prediction, not an official Epic Games announcement; later third-party records indicate the cosmetics did appear in December 2024.
What the Fortnite leak reported
GamerFocus credited the leak to informant SpushFNBR, whose post was echoed by iFireMonkey. The report listed these cosmetics and prices as reported in December 2024:
| Cosmetic | Reported price | Included items or details |
|---|---|---|
| Shinobi Batman outfit | 1,600 V-Bucks | Bat Ninjatō back bling and pickaxe included |
| Karuta Harley Quinn outfit | 1,600 V-Bucks | Bud back bling included |
| “Desaparición” emote | 400 V-Bucks | Standalone item in the report |
| Otsuchi de arlequín pickaxe | 800 V-Bucks | Standalone item in the report |
| Batman Ninja bundle | 2,800 V-Bucks | Combined bundle price reported at the time |
These are the prices GamerFocus attributed to the leak, not a statement of current pricing. GamerFocus’s December 19 report, updated December 20, 2024 contains the original item list and forecast.
When did the skins arrive in Fortnite?
The leak forecast a Saturday, December 21, 2024 release at 7 p.m. Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador time. A third-party Fortnite cosmetics reference instead records the Ninja Knight Batman bundle as released on December 22, 2024, for 1,600 V-Bucks; a separate licensing roundup also says Ninja Knight Batman and Karuta Harley Quinn appeared in the Item Shop in December 2024. The records support that the cosmetics followed the leak, but they are secondary sources rather than Epic Games confirmation. Fortnite Wiki’s bundle record and Layer Licensing’s roundup provide those later details.

Are the outfits exact designs from Batman Ninja?
The report described the cosmetics as Batman Ninja-inspired, but the available evidence does not establish that Fortnite’s outfits exactly reproduce designs from the animated film. “Ninja-themed” or “inspired by the Batman Ninja concept” is the more precise description unless comparing official outfit imagery directly.
Warner Bros. Japan described Batman Ninja as a Japan-originated animated project built around Batman and ninjas. Its May 30, 2024 announcement concerned Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League and named directors Junpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi, screenwriter Kazuki Nakashima, character designer Takashi Okazaki, composer Yugo Kanno, animation studio Kamikaze Douga, and Batman voice actor Koichi Yamadera. The announcement provides franchise context; it does not link the sequel to Fortnite. Warner Bros. Japan’s announcement via PR Times describes Batman Ninja as an animation work originating in Japan from the concept of “Batman × Ninja” (translated from Japanese).
