Epic says eligible purchases of Cyberpunk 2077 through the Epic Games Store grant both cosmetics, using the same Epic account you use for Fortnite. The promotion began May 14, 2026, at 8 PM ET; Epic also said the Outfit could be bought separately in the Fortnite Shop.
What Epic confirmed about the Adam Smasher cosmetics
On March 6, 2026, GameSpot reported that Epic had teased new Cyberpunk locker content and that the franchise’s social account had promised new content “soon.” Adam Smasher was a possibility in that report, not a confirmed character or a confirmed list of items. Epic’s later FAQ identified the reward as the Adam Smasher Outfit and Adam Smasher’s Shoulder Cannon Backbling, usable in Fortnite starting May 14, 2026, at 8 PM ET. How to get the Adam Smasher Outfit and Backbling
| Option | What you get | Important condition |
|---|---|---|
| Buy Cyberpunk 2077 through the Epic Games Store | Adam Smasher Outfit and Shoulder Cannon Backbling | Use the same Epic account for the purchase and Fortnite. Epic Support identifies both Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition as eligible. |
| Buy the Outfit in Fortnite’s Shop | Adam Smasher Outfit | Epic said it could be purchased separately from May 14, 2026. That announcement does not establish whether it is available in the rotating shop now. |
Epic’s offer applies to purchases made through its own store; the official terms do not say that buying the game from Amazon or another retailer qualifies. Review Epic Games Store Support’s eligibility instructions before purchasing, especially if you are buying the game as a gift.
Account, duplicate-ownership, and refund rules
- Use the matching Epic account: the Epic Games Store purchase must be on the account you use to play Fortnite. Epic says linked console accounts can access the cosmetics in the Fortnite Locker on other platforms.
- If you already own the Outfit: Epic says an eligible game purchase grants a one-time 1,500 V-Bucks instead of the cosmetics.
- If you refund the game: Epic says the granted cosmetics and any associated V-Bucks are removed.
- Offer duration: Epic says the promotion lasts as long as Cyberpunk 2077 remains available for sale on the Epic Games Store.
These terms are described in Epic’s promotion FAQ and Epic Support’s help article.

Don’t confuse it with Fortnite’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners bundle
The Adam Smasher reward is tied to Cyberpunk 2077 on the Epic Games Store. It is separate from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration, whose Fortnite bundle listing names Lucyna Kushinada, Rebecca Plushie, Lucy’s Monowire, Lucy’s Float, Edgerunner Glitch, and “I Really Want To Stay At Your House.” The official listing displayed 2,300 V-Bucks, discounted from 3,800, when accessed; shop prices and availability can change. See Fortnite’s official bundle listing.
GamesRadar separately reported that CD Projekt Red had confirmed a Lucy skin was on the way. That Edgerunners news is not part of the Adam Smasher purchase promotion. GamesRadar’s Lucy report.
