When did the final Festival Playlist end?
Series 77 was the game’s last Festival Playlist series. It began July 25, 2024, and its final playlist ended August 22, 2024. After that date, players could view playlist history, but the playlist screen was no longer accessible in its former form.

Three achievements tied specifically to playlist completion had their last earning opportunity during Series 77:
- Cashing In: earn one Season Completion Bonus.
- Perfectionist: earn all eight Season Completion Bonuses in the same Series.
- Encore?: complete all activities in a single Festival Playlist Series.
Seasonal changes continued through Spring, Autumn, Winter, and Summer, so achievements tied to the seasonal cycle remained possible.

What could players do after playlists ended?
The end of Festival Playlists did not remove every recurring activity. The Forza Events screen continued to offer selected daily and weekly challenges, alongside Forzathon Live Events. These activities awarded Forzathon Points, which players could exchange for Backstage Passes. Playground Games also said it would add the remaining cars previously exclusive to Festival Playlists to the Backstage Pass Cars list.

Playground Games announced on June 25, 2024, that the game and its additional content would be delisted from the Microsoft Store and Steam on December 15, 2024. Could existing owners keep playing?
According to Playground Games’ announcement, players who already owned the game and its content could continue to download and play it as normal, including offline, online, and multiplayer features. The publisher also said physical copies purchased after delisting would work and could use online features. These are the publisher’s stated policies.
Digital ownership
If you already had a digital license, the announcement said you could keep downloading and playing the game after it left the stores. It did not say that the delisting would revoke existing purchases.

Physical copies
Playground Games said physical copies bought after the digital delisting would work, including online features. Before buying a disc, check that its platform and region match your console. The announcement does not confirm current retailer stock, prices, or the reliability of any particular seller.
Game Pass and DLC
The game was scheduled to leave Game Pass on December 15, 2024. Playground Games described a game-token option for some people who played through Game Pass and bought DLC, subject to subscription and purchase conditions. That statement does not establish universal eligibility or whether tokens remain available now.
