Forza’s car-list page, updated September 8, 2026, is a rolling list of models revealed to date; it includes some upcoming Car Pass and Reward cars, so it is not a count of cars all players can currently obtain.

How many cars are in Forza Horizon 6?
Playground Games said in its 2026 launch announcement, “At launch, we will have more than 550 cars for you to collect and customize.” The wording establishes a launch-scale minimum, not an exact number such as 550 or 551. The announcement does not state a precise total for the live game after updates and add-ons.
The official roster was updated on September 8, 2026, for Series 5 and Car Pass additions. It describes the entries as car models revealed to date and says it will be updated as future Series content is announced. Because it includes upcoming Reward and Car Pass cars as well as revealed models, the page should be read as a dated roster, not a definitive count of cars currently available in every edition.
Is there a full Forza Horizon 6 car list?
The official Forza Horizon 6 car list is the best place to check the announced roster. Its columns identify each car’s make and name, type, performance class, country, collection method, and add-on association. That makes it useful both for browsing the variety of cars and for understanding how a particular entry is categorized.

For example, the collection-method column distinguishes routes such as Autoshow, Wheelspin, Seasonal, and Collection Journal. The add-ons column flags content such as Car Pass. These labels matter: a car’s presence on the roster does not by itself mean that it is already obtainable, included in the base game, or available through the same route as another entry.
What cars were added in the latest cited update?
In its September 7, 2026, Series 5 article, Playground Games highlighted a range of additions. The named Festival Playlist cars were the 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed, 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior, and 2006 Vauxhall Astra VXR. The update also included the 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition and four Car Pass cars. These are examples of the update’s different reward and add-on routes, not a complete tally of all cars in the game.

The official list’s update note is dated September 8, 2026, one day after the Series 5 announcement. Later announced content may change what appears on the rolling list.
Does the car count include Car Pass and reward cars?
It depends on which figure or list you mean. The “more than 550” figure is the launch announcement’s statement about the launch roster. The rolling car list also includes announced upcoming Reward and Car Pass entries, while its add-on column marks cars associated with add-on content. The official Premium Edition and Upgrade description says Car Pass adds 30 cars, delivered one per week. That add-on figure describes Car Pass content; it is not a published updated total for the entire game.

For a specific car, check its entry on the official list and then consult the game’s Collection Journal under Discover Japan > Car Collection. The Purchase button shows the ways that car may be available beyond the Autoshow. A listed collection route or add-on flag is more informative than assuming every car can be purchased in the same way.
