If you mean the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible, it is not described as a permanent souvenir. Xbox’s October 8, 2026 announcement says to smash 20 near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet during the in-game Autumn season. The announcement gives no exact coordinates or confirmed fix for collectibles that remain invisible after you meet those conditions.
First, check that you mean the sandwich activity
“Souvenir” can refer to more than one Forza Horizon 6 feature. The sandwich item is officially called the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible. It belongs to a seasonal 7-Eleven collaboration activity—not to the Collection Journal, and not to a permanently available Car Meet feature.

Xbox Wire’s October 8, 2026 announcement places the activity near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet. It calls for smashing 20 sandwiches during Autumn, with Festival Playlist completion points and a new Forza LINK reward. It does not call the collectible permanent or say it should appear year-round.

- Confirm the item: Look for the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible, not a Journal memento or a collectible mascot.
- Check the in-game season: The announced activity is for Autumn. The announcement does not promise availability in other seasons, or specify calendar dates for the in-game season.
- Go to the named area: Search near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet. Xbox’s announcement provides no map coordinates, route, or more precise spawn location.
- Confirm the relevant content is available: Xbox said the Horizon Meets update, including its Festival Playlist and Evolving World content, was available to download on announcement day, October 8, 2026. It does not give platform-specific steps for checking whether the update is installed or refreshing this activity.
- Try the activity under those conditions: If the collectibles appear, smash 20 to complete the stated objective. The announced rewards are Playlist completion points and a Forza LINK reward.
These checks establish what the official announcement says should be true; they are not a documented repair procedure. The announcement does not identify a spawn trigger or explain why the sandwiches might fail to appear.

What “permanent” means for the related features
Forza Horizon 6 has other features that could be mistaken for a permanent souvenir. Their permanence or collection mechanics do not make the sandwich activity permanent.
| Feature | Where or how it appears | Availability or purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible | Near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet | Seasonal Autumn activity: smash 20 for Festival Playlist completion points and a Forza LINK reward. Xbox’s October 8, 2026 announcement does not describe it as permanent. |
| Collection Journal | Records digital mementos discovered throughout Japan | A collection feature, distinct from the sandwich activity. Xbox Wire describes the Journal in its January 22, 2026 interview. |
| Car Meets | At three in-game locations | Xbox Wire’s January 22, 2026 interview describes these locations as permanent. That permanence applies to the meet locations, not the sandwiches. |
| Collectible mascots | Distributed around game areas | A separate collectible category that gives a small reward, described in Xbox Wire’s April 8, 2026 preview. |
If the sandwiches still do not appear
If you are in the stated area during the stated in-game season and the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectibles are still absent, the available official information leaves the problem unresolved. It does not document a cause or confirm that restarting the game, changing settings, reinstalling, or using different hardware will make them appear.

Keep the distinction clear when describing the problem: the official activity is the seasonal sandwich collectible near the 7-Eleven Car Meet, while the “permanent” detail refers to three Car Meet locations. If you seek help, report that you met the announced season and location conditions but could not see the items; do not assume that an unverified workaround is a guaranteed fix.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWhat is and is not established
- Established: the official item name, named nearby Car Meet, Autumn condition, objective of 20, and stated rewards.
- Not established: exact coordinates, a more detailed route, platform-specific update-check steps, a spawn trigger, or a confirmed recovery method for missing collectibles.
The practical answer is to verify the item, in-game season, location, and update availability first. If all match and nothing appears, there is no confirmed fix in the cited official information.
