Forza Motorsport Update 10 was originally scheduled to arrive in two downloads on July 10, 2024—but Turn 10 changed the plan that same day. After resolving an issue, the studio said all of the update’s content, features, and fixes would roll out together in one download. The update began rolling out at 10:00 AM PT (5:00 PM UTC) for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Did Update 10 actually release in two waves?
No. The two-download schedule was the original plan in Turn 10’s July 10, 2024 release notes. At 11:00 AM PT that day, Turn 10 posted a correction saying all Update 10 content, features, and fixes would be released simultaneously in one download later that day. The correction superseded the earlier schedule; a second Update 10 download did not follow the original plan.

The official Update 10 announcement gives the rollout start as Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM PT (5:00 PM UTC) on Xbox Series X|S and PC through the Microsoft Store and Steam. That is separate from the Spotlight cars and in-game events, which were scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM PT (12:00 AM UTC) on Thursday, July 11.
What was in the original two-download plan?
The Update 10 release notes initially described a first download with car and event content, minor improvements to Catalunya and Hockenheim, a new wing option for 18 cars, and Replay interface changes. A second download, with its timing still to be confirmed, was to contain the remaining features and fixes.

The most notable items slated for that second download were Car Proximity Radar and two PC options: a setting to disable TAA and an updated VRAM estimator. Turn 10’s same-day correction brought these and the rest of the planned content into the single simultaneous release.
What did Update 10 add and change?
Car Proximity Radar
The radar helps identify cars in blind spots. Players can enable and adjust it under Settings → Gameplay & HUD. Turn 10 highlighted its usefulness from cockpit, hood, and bumper camera views.

Replay interface
Immediate Replay improvements included a vertical driver list, a new track map, options to show or hide the HUD, and improved mouse-and-keyboard navigation. Turn 10 also mentioned further Replay changes as forthcoming; those were not part of the immediate list of improvements.
PC graphics and memory settings
The PC update added a more accurate VRAM estimator and an option to disable TAA. Turn 10 advised PC players to review their graphics settings after updating, specifically warning that some settings could exceed available memory on GPUs with 4–8 GB of VRAM. That figure identifies the range the announcement called out; it is not an estimate of how many players would be affected.

The Big Country Labs aero wing became available as an option on 18 listed cars. For those cars, the option unlocked at Car Level 1.

Nemesis Month content
Update 10 introduced Nemesis Month content across Career, Multiplayer, and Rivals, including the Nemesis Tour and rival-themed series. The tour deadline was August 28, 2024. The Spotlight cars and multiplayer schedules were limited-time 2024 events, so their inclusion in Update 10 does not establish that they are still available.
Turn 10 said the month would showcase 11 Spotlight cars. During their listed event windows, Spotlight cars had a temporary 30% Showroom discount using in-game credits. The announcement also listed a 15% VIP discount on the 2011 SUBARU WRX STI for the month, alongside weekly VIP car discounts. These were historical offers, not current prices or availability.

Fixes
The update included track fixes for Catalunya and Hockenheim, fixes for multiplayer disconnects and crashes, smoother AI merging in the pit lane, and a fix for downshift RPM behavior, among other issues.
For PC shifting timing affected by frame rate, Turn 10 said it moved the shifting state machine into the high-frequency part of its update and kept that update consistent across PC frame rates. The studio described the implementation change; the announcement did not provide a measured performance result.
