Forza Motorsport Update 16 launched on January 6, 2025, bringing a BMW-themed month of Career tours, Featured Multiplayer races, a Rivals challenge and new Showroom cars. The original event calendar ran from January 8 to February 12, 2025, with a separate BMW Tour Career reward deadline of February 26. Turn 10 later said the BMW Tour returned as a permanently available Featured Tour, but that does not confirm that every original reward or Challenge Hub objective is currently obtainable.
When and where did Update 16 launch?
Turn 10 Studios began rolling out the update on January 6, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S and PC through the Microsoft Store and Steam. The new spotlight cars and events started January 8 at 4:00 PM PT (January 9 at 12:00 AM UTC). The official overview does not give a complete current build number.

BMW Month’s original event calendar covered January 8 through February 12, 2025. Those dates and the reward deadlines below describe the original announcement, not a current live schedule. In its 2025 year-in-review, Turn 10 said the BMW Tour returned as a Featured Tour, alongside other previously released tours and reward cars, so players could enjoy those tours at any time. How were the main BMW rewards earned?
Update 16 tied different cars to different modes and objectives. The distinctions matter: some rewards were announced for completing tours or races, while others were listed for purchase with in-game credits.

The Open Class Tour’s six series and three races per series were part of the original event. The dates above are historical deadlines. Turn 10’s later statement about the BMW Tour’s return does not verify the present status of every reward route.

The 2023 BMW #25 BMW Team RLL M Hybrid V8 and 2020 Formula Drift #91 BMW M2 were also listed as Showroom cars, with the announcement noting that they could additionally be unlocked through the Challenge Hub. The announcement does not establish the current Showroom stock or present-day Challenge Hub conditions.
