Forza Motorsport Update 20, released in May 2025 to mark 20 years of the series, brought back the mountain road Fujimi Kaido, added open multiplayer Meetups and anniversary events, and included changes to AI, wheel features, proximity radar and music. It is distinct from Update 13, the game’s first-anniversary update announced in October 2024.
When Update 20 arrived—and what the anniversary means
Turn 10 Studios announced Update 20 on May 5, 2025, describing it as a celebration of the franchise’s 20-year history. The update began rolling out that day for Forza Motorsport on Xbox Series X|S and PC through the Microsoft Store and Steam. Spotlight cars and new events were scheduled to begin May 7 at 5:00 p.m. PT (May 8 at 00:00 UTC); those were launch dates, not upcoming events. Turn 10’s announcement called out the return of Fujimi Kaido as a central feature.

This is not the same as Update 13, which Turn 10 announced on October 14, 2024, for the game’s first anniversary. Update 13 was an earlier milestone; the 20th-anniversary framing belongs to Update 20 and the series.
Fujimi Kaido returns
The headline track addition is Fujimi Kaido, a winding mountain road long associated with drifting in the series. Microsoft’s Xbox listing describes the route as 16.5 kilometers (10.24 miles) long, with 144 turns. Those are figures from the listing, not an independent measurement. Microsoft’s Xbox listing also presents the circuit as a destination for both drift and motorsport play.
