Free Fire 1.109.1 and Free Fire MAX 2.109.1 are archived releases from February 26, 2025—not current updates. For a safe download, use Google Play or the App Store, or follow Garena’s official APK route if your device cannot access those stores. Garena advises against downloading the game from other sites.
Are Free Fire 1.109.1 and MAX 2.109.1 current?
No. APKMirror’s archive records both versions as released on February 26, 2025. Its listings show later builds by 2026: Free Fire site version 1.130.1 was uploaded on August 5, 2026, while Free Fire MAX 2.132.1 was uploaded on September 16, 2026. These archive records establish that newer versions exist; they do not make APKMirror Garena’s recommended download source.
Garena’s official site showed OB55 patch notes dated September 10, 2026, and a collaboration announcement dated September 15, 2026, when checked on October 8, 2026. That establishes newer official activity, but does not identify either 1.109.1 or 2.109.1 as the current build.
Where to download Free Fire safely
Garena says players who cannot access Google Play or the App Store may download the APK from its official site. Its support article warns players not to download Free Fire from other sites, citing potential problems with the account and game experience.
