No. The RTX 40-series offer that bundled PC Game Pass with GeForce NOW Priority was a limited-time 2023 promotion, not a permanent benefit of owning or buying one of those graphics cards. The purchase period ended January 8, 2024, and the redemption deadline was February 22, 2024. As of September 28, 2026, those deadlines have passed; do not buy an RTX 40 GPU expecting this bundle.
What the RTX 40 promotion included
The historical bundle offered two separate promotional subscriptions with a qualifying desktop graphics-card purchase through a participating retailer. Contemporary coverage reported the following terms; the bundle is no longer available as a new-purchase incentive.

The bundle did not make the GPU free, nor did it mean that every PC Game Pass game could be streamed. The benefits were distinct subscriptions, each with its own account, compatibility, and service conditions. Windows Central’s contemporary report covered the original promotion and its dates.

This is a historical list, not a current eligibility offer. A card model alone did not establish eligibility: the purchase had to meet the promotion’s terms and be made through a participating retailer. Contemporary coverage described the offer as aimed at custom desktop builders and reported that laptops and prebuilt desktops were excluded. Do not assume that a laptop containing an RTX 40-series GPU, a prebuilt PC, or every separately sold card qualified.
A manufacturer may run a separate promotion with a complete PC, and a retailer may run its own bundle. Those offers can have different eligible products, regions, deadlines, and redemption methods. Check the specific offer in writing before purchasing; the old NVIDIA bundle does not establish eligibility for a newer one.
When did the deal end?
- Last day to purchase within the reported promotion: January 8, 2024.
- Final reported code-redemption deadline: February 22, 2024.
Both dates belong to the original RTX 40 purchase promotion. A card bought after the purchase window did not qualify for that offer, and an unredeemed code past its deadline should not be assumed valid.
How the separate 2024 GeForce Reward differed
NVIDIA later offered PC Game Pass through GeForce Rewards. That was a separate software-based reward, not a continuation of the RTX 40 purchase bundle. NVIDIA’s U.S. page describes a one-month reward for eligible GeForce GTX 10-series-and-newer desktop and laptop users, with a September 5, 2024 promotion end date and a September 16, 2024 redemption deadline. It required an NVIDIA Account, enrollment and redemption through NVIDIA software, a valid payment method, and eligibility as a new Xbox Game Pass member. Recurring billing applied unless canceled.

For example, NVIDIA’s European announcement described the three-month reward, while a Korean regional page listed a July 5 offer end date and an August 30 redemption deadline. The discrepancy reflects regional or updated offer pages, not a live 2026 entitlement. NVIDIA’s U.S. terms, its European announcement, and its Korean regional page document those separate versions. Their deadlines have passed.
NVIDIA’s 2024 U.S. terms specified new Xbox Game Pass members only. Do not assume an existing subscriber can stack, extend, convert, or upgrade a code; check the exact terms printed with the code. Regional eligibility and payment requirements can also vary.
What PC Game Pass and GeForce NOW each provide
PC Game Pass is for local installation and play
PC Game Pass gives access to eligible games through Microsoft’s PC gaming ecosystem. Local play depends on a compatible Windows PC, its hardware, and available storage. A Game Pass entitlement does not itself grant access to NVIDIA’s cloud-streaming service.

GeForce NOW streams supported games
GeForce NOW runs games on NVIDIA’s servers and streams them to a supported device. It requires a suitable internet connection, and results depend on network conditions and service availability. Its catalog is not the full PC Game Pass catalog: the particular game must be supported by GeForce NOW, the relevant storefront integration must be available, and the correct account and game version may need to be selected.
In a 2024 announcement, NVIDIA said more than 130 PC Game Pass titles could be streamed through GeForce NOW at that time. That was a dated catalog snapshot, not a current or permanent count. Some PC Game Pass titles may be playable locally but unavailable through GeForce NOW. For compatible games, Microsoft account linking and choosing the Xbox or Microsoft Store version in GeForce NOW may matter; owning a version on Steam or another storefront does not necessarily provide the Microsoft Store version. NVIDIA’s 2024 announcement also described GeForce NOW support across devices including browsers, Macs, Chromebooks, mobile devices, and selected TVs; supported devices and games depend on the service’s current availability.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. If you already have a promotional code
The original RTX 40 redemption deadline has passed, so first check whether the code remains valid and read its own terms. If Microsoft accepts it, use the account that should receive the subscription and review billing immediately after activation.
- Sign in to the intended Microsoft account, then enter the code at Microsoft’s official redemption page.
- Read the on-screen message before confirming. It should identify the offer and any account or new-member restrictions that apply to that code.
- If redemption succeeds, note the promotional end date and whether a payment method or recurring billing is required.
- Check subscription and recurring-billing settings. Cancel recurring billing if you do not want the subscription to convert to a paid plan after the promotion.
- Keep the confirmation email or a screenshot showing the redemption and end date.
The 2024 NVIDIA reward terms required a valid payment method and said regular billing would begin unless the subscriber canceled. That does not prove every RTX 40 code had identical terms: follow the terms displayed for the particular entitlement, and check Microsoft’s current subscription conditions before accepting.
If a code is missing, unavailable, or rejected
- No reward appeared: The purchase may have been outside the promotion window, through a nonparticipating retailer, or for a product category reported as excluded.
- The code is rejected: Check whether it was already redeemed, whether its deadline passed, and whether the Microsoft account meets the code’s new-member or regional requirements.
- Accounts do not match: Confirm you are using the intended NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Xbox accounts. A code or entitlement associated with a different account may not appear where expected.
- The offer came with a complete system: Contact the retailer or system manufacturer and check the invoice, email, packaging, or included-device instructions. Manufacturer entitlements are not the universal NVIDIA RTX 40 redemption path.
For a device-specific Microsoft promotion, Microsoft community guidance has suggested checking Microsoft Store → Library → Included with device or the equivalent area in the Xbox app. That location is relevant to some manufacturer bundles, not a guarantee that an NVIDIA graphics-card code will appear there. See Microsoft’s community guidance and ask the seller or manufacturer that supplied the system for help recovering its entitlement.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Should you buy an RTX 40 GPU for this offer?
No. The bundle’s purchase and redemption windows are over. Consider an RTX 40 card on its hardware merits—performance in your games, VRAM, ray tracing and DLSS support, power and PSU needs, price, warranty, and return policy—not on the assumption that it comes with this expired subscription offer.
If you want downloadable PC games, check Xbox’s live PC Game Pass page. If you want cloud gaming, check NVIDIA’s current GeForce NOW plans and supported-game catalog. For a graphics upgrade, consult NVIDIA’s current GeForce graphics-card lineup. Retailer and manufacturer bundles can still differ, so verify the exact product, region, code, and deadline on the seller’s current offer before paying. These destinations are alternatives to investigate, not evidence that a replacement Game Pass bundle is active.
