FV Mods’ “Grand Theft Auto multiverse” is a set of three reported map add-ons for Grand Theft Auto V—not an official Rockstar project or a preview of Grand Theft Auto VI. PC Gamer reported on December 7, 2025 that Oldburries, Largo Hillio and the European Freeway Project can be loaded together, with travel between locations by aircraft. A second report describes airports linking the areas. These are reported features, not independently tested installation or compatibility findings.
What does FV Mods add to GTA V?
PC Gamer’s December 7, 2025 report describes three map add-ons created by FV Mods, identified in the coverage by that handle rather than a personal name. Together, the maps extend GTA V’s world with a rural Canadian setting, an island built around park-like scenery and roads, and a long European-style motorway.
FV Mods framed the project as an effort to expand the game world, telling its Nexus Mods project page: “I just wanted to expand the world in ways Rockstar never will.” PC Gamer also quoted the creator’s line: “GTA 5 is 10 years old—but that doesn’t mean the map has to be.”
What are the three new GTA V map areas?

The eight-lane road is a reported design detail, not a measured performance or scale statistic. The coverage does not establish that the project recreates the complete cities, characters, vehicles or campaigns from older GTA games; “multiverse” is best understood as a colorful description of connected custom areas inside GTA V.

Can you explore all three maps in one GTA V world?
PC Gamer reported that all three add-ons can be loaded at once and that players can fly between them. Jeuxvideo.com’s December 8, 2025 account says each location has an airport linking the expansions, allowing travel by plane. Together, these reports describe a connected experience, rather than three unrelated map downloads, but the details have not been independently tested here.
Is the FV Mods project official or related to GTA VI?
No. The reports identify it as FV Mods’ work for GTA V; they do not describe it as a Rockstar release or an official GTA VI product. The “multiverse” label does not mean that every GTA game or its full content is included. Jeuxvideo.com mentioned GTA VI’s then-scheduled November 19, 2026 release date in its December 8, 2025 article, but that was a schedule statement at the time of publication, not confirmation of the current release date.

What do you need to play these GTA V map mods?
The only clearly established product path in the coverage is owning the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. If you already own the base game, the reports establish no additional physical product you need to buy; they do not say the game purchase includes the mod content.
PC Gamer links the three project names to Nexus Mods, but the reporting does not establish whether downloads are currently available or which GTA V versions they support. It also does not verify installation steps, system requirements, compatibility, safety or rules for using the mods online. Check current creator documentation and applicable platform and publisher policies before installing or using any mod. No specific mod tool or hardware upgrade is established as necessary.
