1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsG.SKILL’s WigiDash is a configurable 7-inch touch panel for PC controls and information widgets, with room for up to 20 items on a 5×4 grid. It offers a different control surface from the cited Elgato Stream Deck MK.2, which uses separate LCD keys—but the available product descriptions do not establish that WigiDash is better for gaming or streaming.
What WigiDash does
G.SKILL describes WigiDash as a 1024×600, 7-inch IPS touchscreen that sits alongside a PC’s main display. Its grid can show up to 20 on-screen buttons or widgets. The intended mix is broader than a panel of shortcuts: users can combine actions with system information and utility displays.

According to G.SKILL, configurable hotkeys can open programs, files, and links, trigger Windows actions, and change according to the foreground application. The maker also lists media playback controls and widgets for HWiNFO and AIDA64 SensorPanel hardware information, as well as a clock, timer or stopwatch, weather, and audio visualizer. These are manufacturer-described capabilities, not independent test results. G.SKILL’s December 21, 2023 announcement presents the device as a way to monitor performance, control media, and trigger customized actions from one panel.
How the control surface differs from Stream Deck MK.2
The most concrete distinction in the cited comparison is physical layout. WigiDash puts its controls and widgets on one touch surface; the Stream Deck MK.2 has individual LCD keys. That means the choice is partly about interaction: a continuous screen can devote space to information alongside touch controls, while separate keys provide distinct button targets.
#1 Best Overall
- 7 inch Touch Display Panel, 1024x600px, USB Powered
- Work & Game Smarter - Create hotkeys and shortcuts, control media playback, adjust audio volume, monitor system performance, and more with virtual on-screen buttons and widgets.
- Supports HWInfo and AIDA64 SensorPanel widgets. (Additional purchase of 3rd party software license may be necessary for full functionality or features.)
- Customize up to 20 widgets in 5x4 grid per page, and create as many pages as you want.
- System Requirements: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit); 1.8m USB Type-C Cable included
That form-factor difference does not prove a winner for gaming, streaming, or ease of use. The available comparison describes product designs, not head-to-head testing. Buyers should match the layout to the actions and information they want at hand rather than treating the “lunch money” framing as evidence of superior performance. HotHardware’s December 21, 2023 coverage makes the comparison with Stream Deck MK.2.
Software and widget requirements
WigiDash requires G.SKILL’s WigiDash Manager software. The company says Manager is used to arrange grid items, create multiple pages, customize icons, colors, and fonts, configure actions and triggers, and import or export profiles. It also says multiple WigiDash devices can be used on one PC.

Not every widget should be assumed to work immediately after setup. G.SKILL’s WigiDash tutorial guide, version 2024.04.02i, notes that some widgets rely on third-party software or online services and may require an internet connection, account setup, extra permissions, or a subscription. Check the requirements for each intended integration before relying on it.

Does WigiDash have a proven edge?
The supplied product descriptions support a clear positioning: WigiDash combines touch controls with room for widgets, while the cited Stream Deck MK.2 comparison centers on separate LCD keys. They do not establish comparative speed, reliability, software quality, or value, nor do they demonstrate that one device is better for a particular game or streaming setup. For a purchase decision, identify whether a touch display with live information or individual display keys better suits your workflow, confirm the integrations you need, and check current prices and availability.
