It adds a new map and four weapons; its attack opens with British MK I tanks, but players fight as infantry and capture sectors on foot. The two cosmetic packs released alongside it are separate paid add-ons.
What is included in the free Ali Al Muntar expansion?
BlackMill Games’ October 1, 2026 release announcement describes the Ali Al Muntar Expansion as a free update for Gallipoli. Its gameplay additions are:
- One map: Ali Al Muntar, set around the British attack toward the position during the Second Battle of Gaza.
- Four weapons: the developer confirms four new arms; its earlier preview names the Pattern 1914 Enfield, but the release material available here does not establish the complete list. The other three names therefore cannot be stated reliably.
The developer frames the battle scenario around April 19, 1917. Its description says British forces attacked with tanks, mounted troops, infantry and gas shells. That is BlackMill Games’ account of the historical setting, not an independently verified history summary.
How do tanks work in the map?
BlackMill Games’ map preview says the attack begins with MK I tanks escorting the British advance toward Samson Ridge. They are part of the opening sequence, not player-controlled vehicles: players remain infantry and capture the map’s sectors on foot.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The developer says most tanks in the historical attack were destroyed by artillery or disabled by terrain, while the infantry continued. In the game map, the final sector rises to a mound topped by a shrine (maqām); trenches, roads and cactus rows shape the approaches and sight lines. These are the developer’s scenario and map-design descriptions, not a claim that the map reproduces every detail of the battle.
What is free, and what costs extra?
The map and four weapons are part of the free update. Two cosmetic DLC packs accompanied it, but they are distinct from the free gameplay content:
