The 2024 GAM3 Awards named Off The Grid, Pirate Nation, Parallel, Nyan Heroes and Pixels as its five Game of the Year finalists. The announced $5 million prize pool was a package of grants, products, services, marketing and blockchain support—not a confirmed $5 million cash payout. The shortlist was announced in October 2024; voting and the ceremony have since concluded.
Which games made the 2024 GAM3 Awards shortlist?
The five Game of the Year finalists announced by GAM3S.GG were:
- Off The Grid
- Pirate Nation
- Parallel
- Nyan Heroes
- Pixels
Those are the Game of the Year contenders, not the complete shortlist. The 2024 awards covered 21 categories, and the organizer’s shortlist announcement directed readers to the awards page for nominees across the categories. It reported nominations spanning 17 blockchain networks, with Immutable, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum and Solana the most represented.
What did the $5 million prize pool include?
GAM3S.GG and the Arbitrum Foundation described the $5 million pool as support for finalists and winners, comprising grants, products, services, marketing and blockchain support from partners including AWS, XAI, Thirdweb, Aethir and Community Gaming. The announcements did not describe the full amount as cash paid directly to winners. The figure therefore refers to a mixed support package, rather than a single cash prize. GAM3S.GG’s announcement and the Arbitrum Foundation and GAM3S.GG release outline the pool.

How did voting work?
Final voting was scheduled for October 15 through November 15, 2024, through the GAM3 Awards page. The decision-making method depended on the category:
| Voting method | Categories | Share or decision-maker |
|---|---|---|
| Jury and community | Most categories | Jury: 90%; community: 10% |
| Community vote | People’s Choice; Best Content Creator | 100% community |
| Studio vote | Games’ Choice | Shortlisted studios chose their favorite |
The contemporaneous joint announcement reported more than 70 jury members. GAM3S.GG also noted that the 90/10 split applied to most categories, not every award.
