Walkthrough: what to expect
The quest moves through an altered Revelry Hall. Follow the golden butterflies as your progression cue; they lead you between scenes and encounters. The walkthroughs describe the following broad sequence, but do not establish every individual puzzle move or the outcome of each story choice.

#1 Best Overall
- From the makers of the acclaimed hit game Destiny, comes the much-anticipated sequel
- An action shooter that takes you on an epic journey across the solar system
- Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion
- To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home
- Enter Revelry Hall and follow the butterflies. Continue along the route they indicate, investigating clues and chess-related encounters as they appear.
- Solve the figurine and shadow puzzles. Inspect the clue or board, then position the figurine so its silhouette matches the shadow or image shown. Advance after the scene; the exact arrangement depends on the puzzle in front of you.
- Make the story choices and complete the chase. Follow the prompts through the narrative scenes and chase segment. Available guide evidence does not document choice-by-choice outcomes, so choose based on your preferred role-play rather than expecting a particular reward.
- Prepare for the final boss sequence. Game8 advises activating the Hero’s Tomb before the encounter. Treat this as a walkthrough recommendation, not a required quest condition.
- Defeat the four opponents in order. The reported sequence is Murong Yuan, Zheng E, the Dao Lord, and the River Master. The guide says the sequence concludes with a return to Revelry Hall after all four are defeated.
