The Amazon Game Pass Black Friday deal that advertised savings of more than $50 was a 2024 offer, not a verified current promotion. A November 29, 2024 report described a $74.99 bundle with one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, an Xbox Core Wireless Controller, and an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K. Current availability and pricing have not been established.
What was in Amazon’s Game Pass Black Friday bundle?
Mashable reported on November 29, 2024, that Amazon offered the bundle for $74.99. It included:
- One month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
- An Xbox Core Wireless Controller
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
The article advertised savings of more than $50. Its displayed $127.96 comparison price would imply $52.97 in savings, but the article’s prose gives a different savings figure. Because those figures conflict, the precise discount is unclear. Mashable’s report, republished by Yahoo, is the source for the historical offer and its pricing.
Is the deal available now?
The offer was reported for Black Friday 2024. There is no verified current Amazon listing, price, or stock information for it, so do not treat the $74.99 price or advertised discount as active. Check Amazon’s live listing before purchasing and confirm that it includes the same controller, Fire TV Stick model, and Game Pass duration.

Could you stream Game Pass without an Xbox console?
The 2024 deal report said subscribers could stream Game Pass games through the included Fire TV Stick 4K without owning an Xbox console, provided they had a suitable internet connection. That is a historical description, not a guarantee of current compatibility.
Xbox says Game Pass subscribers can stream on supported devices, but game availability and features vary by time, region, plan, and platform. Before buying a bundle for console-free play, check Xbox’s current Game Pass details for supported devices and the requirements that apply to your location and plan.
