GameHub 5.2, reported on October 23, 2025, focused on making Steam features more convenient and improving keyboard and controller input in PC emulators. It is a historical release, not the app’s latest version: GameHub’s official website showed Android version 6.3.1 when checked on October 7, 2026.
What changed in GameHub 5.2?
Android Authority reported that GameSir was rolling out GameHub 5.2 and that its announcement and changelog had appeared on GameHub’s Discord. The reported changes centered on Steam integration and emulator controls:
- Steam: improved optimization, cloud saves, Steam Input, resumable downloads, and family sharing.
- PC emulators: stronger physical-keyboard support and controller input.
- Interface: smoother page animations and transitions, plus sharper game-list covers and background images.
- Other changes: Brazilian Portuguese support and unspecified fixes for known issues.
These are reported release-note features, not a guarantee that every Steam title or Android device supports them equally. The underlying Discord post was not separately verified in the coverage. Android Authority’s October 23, 2025 report is the source for the 5.2 feature list.
How did GameHub change after 5.2?
Subsequent versions added features beyond the scope of the 5.2 announcement. The dated milestones below distinguish what was reported for those later releases from the original update.

The 6.0.6 report says the GameSir team called that later release “one of the biggest updates in GameHub’s history.” That description refers to 6.0.6, not 5.2.
What GameHub’s connectivity and compatibility notes mean
GameHub describes itself as a multi-function gaming platform with PC emulation, cloud gaming, game streaming, Steam and Epic integration, and controller and touch inputs. Its site says PC emulation can run offline, while cloud gaming and streaming require a stable internet connection. That distinction concerns connection needs; it does not mean every PC game will run offline, or that every title and device is compatible.

The update report supports the narrower claim that 5.2 improved keyboard and controller input for PC emulators. Later version notes describe additional gamepad mapping and navigation options. Neither source certifies a particular controller model. Check the specific game, Android device, connection requirements, and controller behavior rather than assuming universal compatibility.

Frame-generation figures on GameHub’s technical page concern GSFG 1.1, not the 5.2 changelog. GameSir says the feature uses Vulkan compute shaders on a phone GPU. Its page describes a test set of 9 games and 22 clips, producing 3,256 generated frames; the year of the test is not stated.

GameSir reports about 1.39 ms per generated frame in a specified setup: Adreno 840, 720p input, and motion estimation at 60% of image width and height. The stated GPU time includes reading and writing, but excludes game rendering and display wait. GameSir also reports average PSNR above LSFG 2.0 and GSFG 1.0 on all clips it tested.
