If you want a fight against a copy of yourself, Duelity is the clearest match. Those are distinct ideas: some games put you on the boss side against other people, while others make your own habits—or a copycat—your opponent.

Games where you control the boss
Bossgard: one boss against a whole team
Bossgard is the strongest fit if the appeal is being the final encounter for a group of friends. Its official site describes it as “A 1 v 5 asymmetrical multiplayer game, where we pit ONE BIG PLAYABLE BOSS against a colorful cast of cartoony Vikings.” One person takes the boss role while up to five others cooperate as Vikings, so the format is deliberately uneven rather than a standard one-on-one duel.
The official site lists local and online play, adjustable-difficulty bots, and custom games in which players can change rosters, abilities, maps, hit points, and lives. That flexibility makes it a good pick for a party looking to set its own challenge, though the source does not establish current storefront or regional availability.
Final Boss Fight: a direct couch-versus setup
Final Boss Fight makes the boss role a two-person contest: one player controls the platforming character and the other operates the boss. The Arcane Creations listing says, “The boss (your friend, brother or grandma you roped into playing this) uses the arrow keys and enter/return to attack.” When the platforming player loses, they respawn stronger, giving the boss player an opponent that grows more capable as the match goes on.

The listing describes local multiplayer for two and releases for HTML5 and Windows. It also characterizes a typical session as lasting a few minutes, which suits a quick head-to-head rather than a long campaign.
DOOM Eternal BATTLEMODE: play on the demon team
In DOOM Eternal‘s BATTLEMODE, demon players face a Slayer controlled by another person. Bethesda describes five playable demons, each with a distinct play style and abilities. Demon players can use hazards, summon AI demons, and temporarily prevent the Slayer from collecting resources; the match format is best-of-five.

This is a recognizable commercial example of playing on the enemy side, but it is not a self-fight: the opponent is another player’s Slayer, not a copy of your own character or an AI trained on your habits. Bethesda’s cited overview does not establish current access, edition, or platform availability.
Nefarious: take the villain’s role in a platform adventure
Nefarious is a thematic match for players who want to be the villain rather than the hero. A secondary reference describes controlling supervillain Crow, taking the boss role against heroes, and encountering platforming and boss battles inspired by familiar game styles. Treat it as a premise match, not a verified current buying recommendation: the cited reference does not confirm present-day platform or purchase availability.

Games where you fight yourself—or a version of yourself
Duelity: your own attacks can hurt your copy
Duelity is the most literal answer to “Can I fight myself?” Its listing calls it “a bullet hell boss fight where you are your own enemy.” A copycat mirrors the player’s movement, and the listed tactics turn that imitation against it: maneuver the duplicate into bombs or dash through a projectile so it hits the enemy.
This is a self-duel built around positioning and timing, not a match against another human playing the boss. The game’s listing identifies it as a released Windows title and credits Lupro Games in 2025.

- This all-new 160-card set plays as a standalone game or as an expansion to the best-selling original card game
- This set includes everything 2-4 players need for countless hours of dungeon-building fun
- Combine it with the original Boss Monster and the possibilities are endless!
Adaptive Boss Arena: an AI opponent that learns your habits
Adaptive Boss Arena explores a different kind of “against yourself”: the player fights an AI boss that profiles behavior and adapts to habits using delayed, perception-limited information. The project’s repository says its countermeasures are telegraphed, and reports all seven build phases complete with the fight playable end to end.
That makes it a project example of adaptive opposition, not a duplicate controlled by the player. The repository is the source for its development status; it does not establish the project as a commercial release.
