The Free Fire codes reported for September 16, 2026 are historical, not confirmed working codes today. MeriStation reported a 24-hour availability window, which had passed by October 8, 2026. For newly issued codes, check Garena’s official Rewards Redemption Site; eligibility can depend on region and account, and the portal is the place to confirm whether a code is accepted.
September 16, 2026 Free Fire codes: historical list
MeriStation listed the following codes on September 16, 2026, and described their availability as limited to 24 hours. They are included here only as a record of that date, not as codes to try for a reward today:

Garena states that expired codes cannot be redeemed. Codes may also be region-specific and are usually limited to one use per account, so a list from a past date is not evidence that any code remains eligible.
How to redeem a current code
- Open Garena’s Rewards Redemption Site and sign in using the account linked to Free Fire. Guest accounts cannot redeem codes.
- Check that the displayed nickname and region/server match the account you intend to use. Enter the code in the portal and confirm.
- If accepted, check the game’s mail or the relevant Vault/account wallet for the reward. Garena support says item rewards arrive by in-game mail within 24 hours; the portal says items appear in the Vault, while gold or diamonds are added to the wallet.
Why a Free Fire code may not work
- It has expired. Garena’s support page says, “Any expired code cannot be redeemed.”
- It was already used. Codes are usually one-time use per account unless stated otherwise.
- The region or server does not match. Codes may be restricted to particular regions, so a code accepted elsewhere may fail for your account.
- You are signed in as a guest. Link the game account before trying to redeem.
- Your mailbox is full. Garena warns that a full mailbox can prevent item rewards from being received.
Garena’s support article describes a 12-character uppercase alphanumeric format, while the live redemption portal says codes can have 12 or 16 characters. Follow the portal’s current instructions rather than assuming every code has the same length.
