For the current Version 7.0 build, start by choosing Yae Miko’s team archetype: KeqingMains (KQM) identifies Stellar-Conduct as her strongest current option. In those teams, prioritize four-piece Disenchantment in Deep Shadow, use ATK% or EM for both the sands and goblet, and generally skip building Energy Recharge just to use her Burst. In other Electro and reaction teams, her goblet and energy needs change. Weapon choice is also team- and refinement-dependent; there is no single universally best pick established here.
What Yae Miko does in Version 7.0
Yae Miko is a five-star Electro Catalyst and an off-field damage dealer. Her Sesshou Sakura turrets deal sustained damage while she is off field. KQM’s Version 7.0 guide includes the Edict of Cleansing passive, which extends turret duration and enhances a subsequent turret hit after a nearby party member triggers Superconduct or Stellar-Conduct.
KQM reports that the passive extends turret duration from 14 to 24 seconds. In Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, an enhanced hit also creates an additional Electro damage instance equal to 200% of Yae’s ATK, according to the KQM Theorycrafting Library mechanics reference. These are game mechanics, not performance statistics. The recommendations below reflect KQM community theorycrafting for Version 7.0, not an official HoYoverse endorsement.
Choose the build for your team
| Team archetype | Artifact direction | Main stats | Energy and Burst |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar-Conduct | Four-piece Disenchantment in Deep Shadow; four-piece Gilded Dreams is an alternative | ATK% or EM sands; ATK% or EM goblet; CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG circlet | Usually do not build ER just to cast Burst; it is generally not worth the field time |
| Other Electro or reaction teams | Choose around the team and Yae’s damage role; KQM lists ATK% or EM sands | ATK% or EM sands; Electro DMG Bonus or EM goblet; CRIT circlet | Meet the team- and rotation-specific ER requirement before prioritizing offensive stats |
Best artifacts for Yae Miko
Stellar-Conduct: Disenchantment in Deep Shadow
KQM recommends four-piece Disenchantment in Deep Shadow for Yae’s personal damage in Stellar-Conduct teams. Four-piece Gilded Dreams is the next listed option. If you are still farming, existing two-piece ATK% and/or EM combinations are reasonable temporary sets rather than a reason to delay building her.

Stellar-Conduct main stats and substats
Use an ATK% or EM sands and an ATK% or EM goblet, but do not equip EM on both pieces. Choose a CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG circlet and aim for a balanced CRIT ratio after team buffs. KQM suggests roughly 100–300 EM before shifting greater attention to ATK% substats.
The goblet differs from a conventional Electro build for a mechanical reason: Stellar-Conduct damage does not benefit from Electro DMG Bonus. That is why KQM favors ATK% or EM goblets for this archetype.

Other teams: Aggravate and reaction builds
For non-Stellar-Conduct teams, use an ATK% or EM sands, an Electro DMG Bonus or EM goblet, and a CRIT circlet. Aggravate and Lunar-Charged can value EM, but KQM cautions against treating Yae as a pure EM stacker. Quickbloom or Quickburn may call for more EM depending on how often Yae triggers Hyperbloom or Overloaded.
In these teams, prioritize ER until Yae meets the requirement for the specific teammates and rotation; then focus on CRIT, ATK%, and EM. There is no single ER target that applies to every lineup, and whether Yae is on field affects her energy needs.

Best weapons: choose for the team, not a universal ranking
Weapon value depends on Yae’s team archetype, the weapon’s refinement, and the rotation. The current KQM material supports a team-dependent choice, not a universal numbered ranking or a claim that a signature weapon is mandatory. Compare the catalysts you already own against the build you are using, and judge them in the context of that team’s buffs, energy support, and field-time plan. An ordering for one setup should not be assumed to hold for another.
For Stellar-Conduct, assess a weapon with the team’s damage type in mind: the reaction damage does not gain from Electro DMG Bonus. In a conventional Electro or reaction build, Yae’s direct Electro damage and reaction triggers can have different relative value. Refinement and the rest of the team can change the comparison, so avoid treating a weapon list detached from its assumptions as a definitive best-to-worst ranking.

Best teams and how to assemble them
Stellar-Conduct: Yae plus an enabler
KQM names Sandrone, Odette, and Cryo Traveler as Stellar-Conduct enablers and identifies this as Yae’s strongest current archetype. Begin with Yae and at least one enabler, then use the remaining slots to provide the support, survivability, and damage your team needs. The exact flex choices affect buffs, energy, and rotation comfort, so build around the characters available to you rather than treating one lineup as mandatory.
Aggravate and other reaction teams
Yae can also be built for non-Stellar-Conduct teams, including Aggravate and other reaction configurations. Evaluate these teams by whether they enable the intended reactions, how much damage comes from Yae versus the rest of the team, how comfortable the field-time demands are, and whether Yae can meet her Burst energy requirement without disrupting the rotation. In Quickbloom or Quickburn, account for how often she actually triggers Hyperbloom or Overloaded when deciding how much EM to pursue.
Should Yae Miko use her Burst every rotation?
Not by default. In Stellar-Conduct teams, KQM says Yae’s Burst is generally not worth the field time and advises against building ER solely to cast it whenever it is available. In other teams, decide based on the rotation’s energy needs and the value of fitting the Burst into the team’s damage window. Use a team-specific energy calculator rather than applying one ER target to every lineup.
Why older Yae build advice may differ
A HoYoLAB creator guide published on November 24, 2022 recommended two-piece Thundering Fury with two-piece Gladiator’s Finale or Shimenawa’s Reminiscence. That advice predates the Version 7.0 kit and current Stellar-Conduct archetype described by KQM, so it should be read as historical guidance rather than the current top recommendation.
