Note: NVIDIA’s matching GeForce NOW announcement was published on October 31, 2024. It is a historical GFN Thursday update, not the latest August 2026 library announcement. That week, five games became available to stream: Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo and VRChat.
NVIDIA’s original announcement also previewed 17 games planned for November and highlighted new The Division 2 content.

The five games added to GeForce NOW

The storefront matters. Owning a title on one PC store does not automatically provide access to another store’s version. In GeForce NOW, select the matching listing, sign in to the relevant Steam, EA or Microsoft account, and confirm that the account owns or otherwise has access to the PC version.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard arrived at launch
Dragon Age: The Veilguard was the most significant addition in the update because NVIDIA listed it for GeForce NOW on its PC launch day. Players create Rook, choose from Warrior, Rogue and Mage classes, and recruit seven companions during the campaign. The game was listed for both Steam and the EA App.

For cloud players, launch-day availability meant avoiding a large local download and playing on a supported lower-powered computer instead. It did not mean the game was automatically included with a GeForce NOW membership: the relevant Steam or EA App entitlement was still a separate consideration.
Resident Evil 4 and the Chainsaw Demo
NVIDIA’s list included both the full Resident Evil 4 remake and Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo. They are separate entries, and both were identified as Steam titles.
The announcement promoted HDR and ray-tracing support for Priority and Ultimate members. Those are NVIDIA’s historical claims for the October 2024 update, not a guarantee that every device, client, game setting or membership plan will produce the same image quality. Streaming resolution and frame rate also depend on the display, network, device decoding and GeForce NOW server conditions.

A GeForce NOW subscription provides access to the streaming service; it does not generally purchase the paid remake for you. Console ownership should not be assumed to transfer to Steam, and access to a Game Pass catalog should not be treated as identical to owning the Steam listing unless NVIDIA specifically identifies that version.
What the other additions offered
Life Is Strange: Double Exposure joined through Steam and Xbox/Microsoft Store. VRChat was listed through Steam. Including the two Resident Evil 4 entries, these titles brought the week’s total to five rather than only the two headline releases.

Historical membership features
In the October 2024 announcement, NVIDIA described Priority as supporting up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. It described Ultimate as supporting up to 4K at up to 120 fps, along with DLSS 3, NVIDIA Reflex and ray-traced ambient occlusion and reflections.
Those specifications belong to the historical announcement. NVIDIA’s newer 2026 membership messaging uses updated Performance and Ultimate positioning: Performance is described as supporting up to 1080p/60, while Ultimate uses RTX 4080- or 5080-class infrastructure and supports up to 120 fps, with higher-resolution and ultrawide-display capabilities depending on the setup. Check NVIDIA’s current membership page for the plan details that apply when you subscribe.

NVIDIA also announced the following planned November additions:

These dates were a forward-looking schedule, not a guarantee that every title would arrive exactly as listed. NVIDIA’s original post should be treated as the announcement record rather than proof of each game’s eventual launch date.

The Division 2 also received seasonal content
The same update said that The Division 2’s Year 6 Season 2 content, titled “Shades of Red,” was available to stream. NVIDIA highlighted seasonal modifiers, revised progression and a seasonal journey built around challenge-style missions.

How to troubleshoot access
If one of these games does not appear or will not launch, use this sequence:
- Check the storefront. The Veilguard was listed for Steam and EA App; Life Is Strange: Double Exposure for Steam and Xbox/Microsoft Store; the two Resident Evil 4 entries and VRChat for Steam.
- Sign in to the matching account. A Steam purchase cannot normally authenticate the EA App version, and console ownership is not automatically PC-store ownership.
- Search inside GeForce NOW. Do not rely only on the external Steam, EA or Xbox launcher.
- Confirm your entitlement. A GeForce NOW membership and ownership of a supported PC version are separate.
- Check current availability. Publisher decisions, regional catalogs, delays and temporary removals can change access after an announcement.
For the live catalog, use NVIDIA’s current GeForce NOW updates page or search through the GeForce NOW web app. The 2024 announcement should not be read as confirmation that every listed title remains available in every country or storefront in 2026.
Was there a free-game promotion?
No general “included with GeForce NOW” claim should be inferred from the library announcement. NVIDIA separately promoted a limited Dragon Age: The Veilguard offer tied to an eligible six-month Ultimate purchase before release. That historical promotion, described in a separate NVIDIA post, should not be confused with ordinary streaming availability or treated as a current offer.
