Yes, GeForce NOW physical gift cards are real—but they are not a new 2026 launch. NVIDIA introduced them in November 2022 as a tangible way to give GeForce NOW membership time. Today, NVIDIA says physical cards are sold only through GeForceNOW.com and are limited to the United States. The official page currently shows mixed availability, with some options marked “Sold Out” and at least one physical-card option available for checkout, so buyers should verify stock and shipping before ordering.
What NVIDIA launched
NVIDIA introduced physical GeForce NOW membership gift cards ahead of the 2022 holiday season. Contemporary coverage reported a $50 card that could be redeemed for either six months of Priority access or three months of RTX 3080 access. The launch also included a temporary holiday gift box at no additional charge, with reported shipping of $2.95. Those were launch-period terms, not guaranteed current pricing or promotions. The plan names have since changed. NVIDIA’s current page uses Performance for the tier formerly associated with Priority and Ultimate for the tier formerly associated with RTX 3080. The card itself pays for membership time; it is not a game, a console-store voucher, or a general NVIDIA account balance.
What a GeForce NOW card buys today
NVIDIA lists gift-card combinations including:
- Two months of Performance or one month of Ultimate
- Six months of Performance or three months of Ultimate
- Twelve months of Performance or six months of Ultimate
Which choices are available depends on the specific card listing and its current stock status. Check the official NVIDIA gift-card page for the live options and checkout price.

Important: games are not included
A membership card gives the recipient access to GeForce NOW service time. The recipient still needs supported games through a connected store such as Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG.com, or Ubisoft Connect, or must use supported free-to-play games. It is therefore not a substitute for a Steam or Epic Games Store gift card when the recipient needs money to buy games.
Where can you buy the physical cards?
NVIDIA’s FAQ says physical GeForce NOW cards are currently available only through GeForceNOW.com. They are not presented as a general retail product sold through Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, grocery-store gift-card racks, or other ordinary retailers.

NVIDIA also says physical cards are currently limited to the United States. A card purchased in the U.S. should not be assumed to work for someone who will redeem it in another country. Shipping is listed as USPS Standard, with shipping and handling added at checkout. Current shipping charges may differ from the $2.95 reported at launch.
The product page’s stock indicators can change. A listing existing on the site does not guarantee that every duration can be ordered or that a specific card will ship immediately.

How redemption works
- Buy the physical card from NVIDIA and provide a shipping address at checkout.
- Give the card and its code to the recipient.
- The recipient visits redeem.nvidia.com.
- They sign in to an existing NVIDIA account or create one.
- They enter the code and choose an eligible Performance or Ultimate membership option.
- The membership time is added to the account.
Existing subscribers can generally redeem cards, but the result depends on their current membership. NVIDIA says Performance members can redeem for Performance or Ultimate, while active Ultimate members can use gift cards only to extend Ultimate. Billing is paused while the gift-card membership period is active and resumes afterward.
Founders members can redeem cards without automatically losing their Founders benefit, but promotional, Founders, and Ultimate periods can affect when the gifted time begins. Anyone with a complicated subscription history should check NVIDIA’s membership terms before redeeming.
Rank #4
- Amazon.com Gift Cards never expire and carry no fees.
- Multiple gift card designs and denominations to choose from.
- Redeemable towards millions of items store-wide at Amazon.com or certain affiliated websites.
- Available for immediate delivery. Gift cards sent by email can be scheduled up to a year in advance.
- No returns and no refunds on Gift Cards.
Who should buy one?
A physical card is a sensible gift when the recipient:
- Lives in the United States and can redeem the card there.
- Already owns compatible PC games.
- Has a supported device and a reliable internet connection.
- Wants cloud gaming rather than a new console or gaming PC.
- Would appreciate something tangible to unwrap.
It is a poor fit when the recipient expects a game, general-purpose store credit, or a cash-equivalent gift. NVIDIA says gift cards cannot be used to buy Day Pass access, and they are not intended for users of a GeForce NOW Alliance partner service rather than NVIDIA’s own service.

Fine print buyers should know
- Cards generally do not expire: NVIDIA says membership gift cards do not expire, although some codes may show a “valid through” date. If a code is not redeemed by that date, NVIDIA says the customer may need to request a replacement. Users with a code that has remained unredeemed for five years should contact support.
- Lost cards are risky: NVIDIA provides a support route for lost physical cards, but its terms warn that cards may not be replaced if lost, stolen, or used without authorization. Do not assume replacement is guaranteed.
- One-time redemption: NVIDIA’s terms say a card is redeemed once, in full, and cannot be split between multiple accounts.
- Cards can be combined: Additional months can be added to a membership balance. However, physical and digital cards cannot be combined in the same order.
- Order limits apply: NVIDIA lists a maximum of five physical cards or ten digital cards per order.
- No cash value: The card is for eligible GeForce NOW membership time, not a normal payment instrument or cash balance.
Physical card vs. digital card vs. game-store credit
| Option | Best for | What it provides |
|---|---|---|
| Physical GeForce NOW card | A U.S. recipient who wants a wrapped gift | Eligible GeForce NOW membership time |
| Digital GeForce NOW card | Immediate delivery | Eligible GeForce NOW membership time without shipping |
| Steam or Epic Games Store credit | Someone who needs to buy games | Store balance, but no GeForce NOW membership |
| Direct GeForce NOW subscription | Self-purchasers | Membership without the physical gift presentation |
Bottom line for gift buyers
GeForce NOW physical gift cards are a genuine NVIDIA product launched in November 2022, but the current story is availability rather than a fresh launch. They can be a good tangible gift for a U.S.-based player who already owns supported PC games and wants Performance or Ultimate cloud access. They are not game gift cards, are not broadly sold in retail stores, and should not be purchased for international redemption without confirming eligibility.
