1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThe GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is available with either 8GB or 16GB of GDDR7 memory; those capacities are official specifications, not an unresolved rumor. Both versions share NVIDIA’s listed core configuration, including 4,608 CUDA cores, a 128-bit memory interface and 180W total graphics power. The practical choice depends on the games and settings you use, the price gap between specific cards, and whether your system can accommodate the board you choose.

These are NVIDIA’s family-level specifications, not a promise that every partner card has identical dimensions, clock settings, cooling or connectors. Check the exact board’s specifications before buying. NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 family specifications identify the reference figures.
What the 8GB and 16GB options mean for games
Having twice the memory does not mean the 16GB card delivers twice the frame rate. The extra capacity matters most when a game and graphics settings need more video memory than an 8GB card can comfortably provide. When memory is not the limiting factor, the difference may be smaller; when it is, the 8GB version can fall short. The evidence does not establish a universal performance percentage for the two capacities.

PC Gamer’s April 15, 2026 review of a Palit RTX 5060 Ti Dual 8GB found strong performance at 1080p and 1440p in its tested games, while warning that some games and settings can make 8GB a constraint. Its findings apply to that model and test suite, not every game or RTX 5060 Ti board. Readers aiming for maximum settings or playing VRAM-heavy games should pay particular attention to the memory capacity. Read PC Gamer’s 8GB review.
Tom’s Hardware reviewed a 16GB model at launch and emphasized that retail availability and pricing would affect its value. A performance result alone cannot settle which version is the better buy: the answer changes with local prices, competing cards and the buyer’s workload. Read Tom’s Hardware’s 16GB review.

- Dual-Fan Cooling in a Compact Design - Two fans work together to distribute and dissipate heat efficiently across a compact design, delivering the thermal headroom to sustain boost clocks without demanding a full-length card slot.
- Masterfully Crafted Cooling - A dense heatsink pulls heat away from the GPU while a vented metal backplate adds passive cooling and reinforces the card against sagging, resulting in lower temperatures for stronger performance and stability in demanding workloads.
- Overclocked Out of the Box - A factory-tuned 2692 MHz boost clock delivers extra performance over reference specifications with no setup required, plus headroom to push further with VelocityX.
- VelocityX Software - Gain full control over your PNY graphics card to maximize its performance. Fine-tune core and memory clocks, dial in custom fan curves, and monitor real-time temperatures and speeds, all from one intuitive interface. Save up to five profiles for instant recall.

How to compare RTX 5060 Ti cards fairly
When reading benchmarks or comparing two listings, use results for the exact board models and keep the test conditions aligned. Resolution, graphics preset, ray tracing, upscaling and frame generation can all change the outcome. NVIDIA’s performance material uses supported games and DLSS features, so treat its figures as vendor claims rather than independent results. NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 performance material describes the features behind those claims.
- Compare the same game version, resolution and graphics settings.
- Check whether ray tracing, upscaling and frame generation are enabled, and whether the modes match.
- Use frame-time or low-frame-rate data when the review provides it, not just an average frame rate.
- Look for signs that a difference occurs when memory use is high rather than assuming that capacity alone explains every result.
- Compare the actual 8GB and 16GB card prices available to you; do not use launch MSRPs as current retail prices.
Launch prices and availability context
NVIDIA announced availability beginning April 16, 2025, with US starting prices of $379 for the 8GB version and $429 for the 16GB version. Those are historical launch starting prices, not verified current prices. Actual prices and stock vary over time and by market. NVIDIA’s announcement said: “The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, launching April 16th, is available in 8GB and 16GB configurations, starting at $379 and $429, respectively.” See NVIDIA’s April 2025 launch announcement.

Check the exact card and your system before buying
NVIDIA lists 600W required system power as general guidance. It is not a guarantee that every computer needs precisely the same PSU: the rest of the system and the specific card matter. Confirm the power requirements and supported connector for the model you plan to buy, and assess compatibility with your complete build.
Board dimensions and connectors can vary substantially. For example, MSI lists its GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16G GAMING OC at 247 × 135 × 51 mm, with a 16-pin power connector and a recommended 600W PSU. Those details apply to that MSI model alone, not every 16GB RTX 5060 Ti. Check MSI’s model-specific specifications.
