For an on-field Arlecchino damage build, start with four-piece Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy, an ATK% Sands, Pyro DMG Goblet, and a CRIT Circlet. Crimson Moon’s Semblance is her top weapon in the current build references, but it is not required: four-piece Gladiator’s Finale and free three-star White Tassel are practical alternatives. Prioritize her Normal Attack talent, and plan around Bond of Life: during combat, other characters cannot heal her, so her Burst, dodging, and defensive support matter.

How to build Arlecchino
Arlecchino is a Pyro polearm user who deals most of her damage on field with Normal Attacks. Her Bond of Life mechanic is central to that damage, so a build should support her attack strings rather than treat her as a character who swaps in only to use her Skill or Burst.
- Artifact set: Four-piece Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy for the leading listed option; use Gladiator’s Finale if you already have stronger pieces.
- Main stats: ATK% Sands, Pyro DMG Goblet, and CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG Circlet.
- Weapon: Crimson Moon’s Semblance is the top option in the reviewed guides. White Tassel is a free three-star alternative.
- Talent priority: Normal Attack first, then Skill, then Burst.
Best weapons for Arlecchino
Crimson Moon’s Semblance is her signature weapon and ranks first in both current references. Its Charged Attack grants additional Bond of Life, and it provides a damage bonus while Bond of Life is active. It is an upgrade, not a requirement for building her effectively.

Weapon comparisons depend on the team and assumptions behind the calculation. In Icy Veins’ example Vaporize team of Arlecchino, Bennett, Yelan, and Xilonen, Crimson Moon’s Semblance was modeled at 121% of the team-DPS baseline for White Tassel at refinement rank 5. In its example Overload team with Bennett, Fischl, and Xilonen, it was modeled at 119% of that baseline. These are guide calculations for those specific lineups, not guaranteed results for every account.

The Helper Team weapon ranking assumes Bennett or Nicole and a Vaporize or Melt team; it notes that some Elemental Mastery weapons are less suitable without reactions. Icy Veins also lists Deathmatch and Ballad of the Fjords as Battle Pass alternatives. Treat rankings as context, not a universal ordering: use weapons you own and consider whether your team can trigger the reactions a weapon rewards.
Best artifacts and main stats
Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy
Four-piece Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy is the top-listed set. Its two-piece effect increases ATK, while its four-piece effect increases damage when Bond of Life rises or falls, stacking up to three times. That makes its effect well suited to Arlecchino’s Bond of Life mechanics.
Gladiator’s Finale and other alternatives
Four-piece Gladiator’s Finale is a strong practical alternative, particularly if you already have good pieces. Its four-piece effect increases Normal Attack damage for sword, claymore, and polearm users. In Icy Veins’ named Vaporize calculation, Gladiator’s Finale was modeled at 96% of Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy’s team-DPS baseline. That comparison describes one guide calculation, not a fixed gap for every team or artifact set.

Other sets listed as viable in some circumstances include Echoes of an Offering, Crimson Witch of Flames, Gilded Dreams, Desert Pavilion Chronicle, and mixed two-piece combinations. Good existing substats can matter more in practice than replacing an already strong set solely to obtain Whimsy.
Main stats and substats
- Sands: ATK% by default. Elemental Mastery can compete in Vaporize or Melt teams.
- Goblet: Pyro DMG.
- Circlet: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG, whichever better balances your build.
- Substats: Favor CRIT and ATK%; Elemental Mastery gains value when she triggers Vaporize or Melt.
Weapon substats and team composition affect the balance you want. Icy Veins’ suggested 1,800+ ATK, 80–100% CRIT Rate, and 180%+ CRIT DMG assume a good set of artifact rolls and the best weapon; they are guide targets, not universal minimums.

Talent priority and a general rotation
Level talents in this order: Normal Attack, then Skill, then Burst. Her Normal Attacks are the core of her on-field damage. Her Skill applies Blood-Debt marks and helps generate Bond of Life; her Burst heals her and resets her Skill cooldown.
A general sequence from the Helper Team guide is:
- Use Arlecchino’s Skill to apply Blood-Debt marks.
- Use your team’s buffs and supporting abilities.
- Use Arlecchino’s Charged Attack to collect the marked Blood-Debt and gain Bond of Life.
- Stay on Arlecchino for Normal Attack strings while her Bond of Life supports her Pyro-infused attacks.
String choice and timing can vary with Vaporize or Melt teams and with player execution; this sequence is a starting point rather than a mandatory combo for every lineup.

Bond of Life and staying alive
Bond of Life absorbs incoming healing until enough healing clears it. When Arlecchino has Bond of Life equal to at least 30% of her Max HP, her Normal Attacks gain Pyro infusion and bonus damage. Those attacks consume some Bond of Life, while her Skill and Blood-Debt mechanic help restore it.
During combat, Arlecchino cannot be healed by other sources according to the reviewed guides. Ordinary team healing therefore will not keep her healthy mid-fight; her Burst is her healing outlet. The Helper Team guide recommends a shielder. Defensive support, dodging, and choosing when to use her Burst are important, especially if you prefer a more comfortable rotation over a more aggressive one.
Which build choice should you make?
- You have strong Whimsy pieces: Equip four-piece Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy and use the standard ATK%, Pyro DMG, CRIT main stats.
- You already have excellent Gladiator pieces: Use them rather than treating Whimsy as an automatic farming requirement.
- You lack her signature weapon: Build around a suitable polearm you own; White Tassel is a free starting option.
- You play Vaporize or Melt: Elemental Mastery becomes more relevant, and check whether a weapon’s ranking assumes those reactions.
- You want safer play: Include defensive support and account for the fact that teammate healing does not work on her during combat.
