A claim that Mare Jivari is being revealed as a Natlan region remains unconfirmed. The HoYoverse update announcements reviewed here do not announce it, and community leak posts or speculation are not official confirmation. That does not rule out a future expansion; it means the claim should be treated as a rumor unless HoYoverse or the game itself corroborates it.
What does the Mare Jivari leak claim?
Community posts discuss Mare Jivari in connection with possible future map expansions. The available evidence does not establish a confirmed release date, map position, story role, or gameplay details for a new region. Without a specific primary-source announcement, those details should not be treated as settled.
Is Mare Jivari coming to Genshin Impact?
There is no confirmation in the official update announcements reviewed. HoYoverse’s Version Luna VI announcement, published April 8, 2026, describes exploration north of Mondstadt. Its Version Luna IV announcement, published January 14, 2026, discusses Nod-Krai and Piramida. These announcements provide update context, not evidence that Mare Jivari will or will not appear in a future expansion.
The distinction matters: an official announcement about other regions cannot disprove a later addition, but it also cannot verify a community leak. Based on the available sources, whether Mare Jivari will be added remains unknown.

What is established about Mare Jivari?
A search-result snippet from the Genshin Impact Wiki describes Mare Jivari as a location associated with Natlan and says a portion becomes accessible during Version 5.8 story content. The page itself could not be checked, so that snippet is a secondary-source lead, not freshly verified official canon. Check the game or HoYoverse material for confirmation before relying on that detail.

How to judge whether the leak is credible
- Check provenance: identify the original post and whether it offers direct evidence, rather than repeating another community claim.
- Look for primary confirmation: an official HoYoverse announcement or in-game update is stronger evidence than a leak thread or wiki snippet.
- Separate corroboration from repetition: multiple posts repeating the same claim do not independently confirm it.
- Recheck as updates arrive: the official announcements cited here cover specific releases, and their silence does not settle what a later update may contain.
