For a damage-focused Mavuika, start with four-piece Obsidian Codex, a Pyro DMG goblet, and a CRIT circlet. Choose ATK% sands for teams that do not rely heavily on Melt or Vaporize; consider Elemental Mastery sands when she regularly triggers those reactions. Her Burst consumes Fighting Spirit rather than Energy, so Energy Recharge is not required to power it. The best weapon and team depend on your roster and whether you want Mavuika on field, dealing damage off field, or supporting another carry.
How Mavuika’s kit affects her build
Mavuika is a Pyro Claymore character. Her Elemental Skill summons All-Fire Armaments, which can create a Ring of Searing Radiance that attacks alongside the active character or a Flamestrider form for Mavuika’s own attacks and movement. Her Burst, Hour of Burning Skies, uses Fighting Spirit instead of Energy. The consulted guide says she needs at least 50% Fighting Spirit to use it; nearby party Nightsoul consumption and party Normal Attacks contribute to building that resource. GenshinGuide’s kit and build guide describes these mechanics.

This changes two practical decisions: don’t treat Energy Recharge as a Burst requirement, and consider how your team generates Fighting Spirit when choosing teammates. A Natlan character can help with that resource, but the team still needs to suit Mavuika’s intended role.
Best artifact set and main stats
On-field damage: Obsidian Codex
Four-piece Obsidian Codex is the primary recommendation for a damage-focused build in the consulted guides. Use a Pyro DMG goblet and a CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG circlet, choosing the circlet that best balances your final CRIT stats. For sands, ATK% is the standard general choice; Elemental Mastery is a viable alternative when Mavuika is triggering Melt or Vaporize frequently. Mobalytics says Elemental Mastery is less useful for Overload or Mono Pyro teams. Mobalytics’ Mavuika build guide provides that team-dependent distinction.
#1 Best Overall
- Genshin Impact 4th Anniversary Celebration Series Character Stand - Mavuika
- Sands: ATK% as a general default; consider Elemental Mastery for reaction-focused Melt or Vaporize teams.
- Goblet: Pyro DMG.
- Circlet: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG, based on your overall CRIT balance.
- Substats: prioritize CRIT, ATK%, and Elemental Mastery where the team makes it valuable.
Support approach: Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City
GenshinGuide lists Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City as an alternative, particularly for a support approach. The consulted guides do not provide controlled comparisons between this set and Obsidian Codex, so choose based on Mavuika’s role and what the rest of the team already supplies rather than assuming one set produces a universal result.
Best weapons for Mavuika
The consulted build guides recommend the following Claymores. These are guide recommendations, not official rankings or results from a controlled test across every account. Weapon value in practice depends on the weapon’s availability, its effect, and the stats your artifacts already provide.
| Weapon | How the guides position it | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| A Thousand Blazing Suns | Mobalytics’ best-in-slot recommendation; Mavuika’s signature weapon. | Use it if available; balance its contribution against your artifact stats. |
| Serpent Spine | Mobalytics’ best four-star option. | Consider it if you have it and its resulting stats suit your build. |
| Wolf’s Gravestone | Listed by Mobalytics as a standard five-star option and also recommended by GenshinGuide. | Compare its effect and your resulting ATK and CRIT balance with other weapons you own. |
| Tidal Shadow | Mobalytics’ free option. | A candidate when you want a non-premium recommendation and already have access to it. |
| Redhorn Stonethresher | Listed by GenshinGuide. | Assess it against your available alternatives and final stats. |
| Verdict | Listed by GenshinGuide. | Assess it against your available alternatives and final stats. |
| Beacon of the Reed Sea | Listed by GenshinGuide. | Assess it against your available alternatives and final stats. |
| Mailed Flower | Listed by GenshinGuide. | Assess it against your available alternatives and final stats. |
Rather than treating the list as a universal tier order, compare the weapons you can actually use with your artifact substats. A weapon that improves one stat may be less useful if your build already has plenty of it; the guides do not supply controlled account-by-account comparisons for every option.

Team choices by role
Mavuika can play as an on-field damage dealer, deal Pyro damage from off field, or support another active character with a post-Burst damage bonus. Team advice is therefore role-dependent, not a single mandatory lineup. Icy Veins’ team guide highlights Fighting Spirit generation and reaction partners when discussing her synergies.
On-field Melt or Vaporize damage
Build around the reactions your roster can reliably trigger while Mavuika is on field. Citlali is named as a premium partner for Cryo application, shielding, and Fighting Spirit generation. Xilonen is another premium option, providing Fighting Spirit generation, resistance shred, and healing. These supports can help address more than one team need, but neither is a requirement for using Mavuika.
Off-field Pyro damage
Her Ring of Searing Radiance can attack alongside the active character, making an off-field approach possible. Choose the active carry and supports around the reactions and utility your roster can provide; the evidence does not establish one best off-field team for every account.
Support for another carry
Mavuika can provide a post-Burst active-character damage bonus for another carry. In that role, prioritize teammates who make the rotation and Fighting Spirit generation workable, and consider the support-oriented Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City option. The sources do not provide controlled set comparisons that would prove it is always preferable.

Natlan alternatives and roster flexibility
Iansan and Pyro Traveler are among the named alternatives for Fighting Spirit support. If you lack Citlali or Xilonen, choose among available teammates according to what your team needs: resource generation, reaction application, healing, shielding, or damage support. The guides identify useful synergies, not a roster requirement, and exact team value depends on playstyle and available characters.

- Need a default damage setup? Use four-piece Obsidian Codex, Pyro DMG goblet, CRIT circlet, and ATK% sands.
- Does Mavuika trigger Melt or Vaporize often? Consider Elemental Mastery sands if those reactions are a central part of the team.
- Is Burst uptime the concern? Build Fighting Spirit through party Nightsoul consumption and Normal Attacks; conventional Energy Recharge is not the Burst resource requirement described by the guide.
- Are you choosing between weapons? Start with what you own, then consider its effect alongside your resulting ATK and CRIT balance rather than relying on a universal ranking.
- Are you choosing a team? Decide first whether Mavuika is the on-field damage dealer, off-field Pyro source, or support for another carry; then fill the reaction and utility needs of that role.
