HoYoverse’s update notice does not give a percentage or before-and-after damage figures, so it establishes which reactions changed—not the size of a particular team’s gain. Version 5.2, “Tapestry of Spirit and Flame,” launched after maintenance scheduled for November 20, 2024 (UTC+8); this is a retrospective look at the patch, not an upcoming update.
Which reaction damage changed in Version 5.2?
The official Version 5.2 update details say that the base damage of these four reactions increased:

- Overloaded
- Superconduct
- Electro-Charged
- Shatter
The notice does not quantify the increase. It therefore does not support a specific percentage, a claim that all four reactions gained the same amount, or a ranking of characters and teams. This is a reaction-damage adjustment, not a general increase to every character’s attacks or damage.
What does the buff mean for teams?
A team that triggers one or more of the four named reactions has a reason to reassess its reaction-focused damage after the change. But the patch note alone cannot show which team benefits most or predict the practical gain: that depends on the characters, their builds, the enemy, and how consistently the rotation triggers the reaction.

To compare teams meaningfully, keep character levels and stats, enemy resistance, reaction trigger conditions, and rotation consistent. The official update details provide no quantified comparison, and no specific team test or result is established here.
What else did Version 5.2 add?
New Natlan areas and story content
The patch opened Tezcatepetonco Range, Quahuacan Cliff, and Ochkanatlan. It also added an Archon Quest interlude, Tribal Chronicles, events, weapons, the Tenebrous Papilla enemy, and gameplay and interface adjustments. See the official update details for the full list.

Chasca: five-star Anemo bow character
HoYoverse introduced Chasca as a five-star Anemo bow wielder. In the developer-authored Version 5.2 preview, her weapon can load up to six bullets, and bullets can convert to Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro depending on party composition. The preview presents her as a character built around combining elemental attacks; it is a description of her mechanics, not independent evidence of her performance or of how much the reaction buff raises her damage.
Ororon: four-star Electro bow character
Ororon is a four-star Electro bow character. His mechanics involve Electro-Charged damage and other party members’ Nightsoul-aligned damage: under specified team and damage triggers, he gains Nightsoul points and can deal Nightsoul-aligned Electro damage. The developer preview describes him as a support option alongside Electro or Hydro teammates. Those mechanics make such teammates relevant to his kit, but do not by themselves establish his overall damage output.
