When did Genshin Impact Version 6.3 release?
Version 6.3, officially announced as Version Luna IV, launched on January 14, 2026, according to HoYoverse’s version announcement. The announcement used “Version Luna IV” in its headline and copy, so readers searching for 6.3 can identify it by that official label.
Three January dates associated with the update refer to different things:
| Date and time | What it refers to |
|---|---|
| January 2, 2026, 00:00 UTC−5 | Scheduled start of the Luna IV special program, which previewed content and included time-limited redemption codes, according to HoYoverse’s special-program notice. |
| January 14, 2026, 06:00 UTC+8 | Scheduled start of maintenance, estimated to last five hours. HoYoverse said the game would update to Luna IV after maintenance, in its maintenance preview. |
| January 14, 2026 | Official launch date for Version Luna IV, as stated in the release announcement. |
The maintenance start time is not a separate release date. HoYoverse gave January 14 as the launch date; its maintenance notice specified when downtime was scheduled to begin.
