Genshin Impact Version 6.4, also called Luna V, reportedly launched on February 25, 2026. Its March Spiral Abyss cycle began March 16, with Anemo and Cryo bonuses that varied by floor and chamber half. The update also introduced playable character Varka and the Radiant Moongecko world boss. This retrospective guide focuses on what is established about those three features; the available summaries do not support a complete boss moveset or a reliable Varka build recommendation.
What Version 6.4 added
Version 6.4 was known as Luna V. A HoYoLAB creator livestream summary and a secondary retrospective identify Varka as a new playable character and the Radiant Moongecko as a new field or world boss. March Spiral Abyss: bonuses by floor
The reported cycle began March 16, 2026. Its modifiers encouraged Anemo and Cryo damage, but the applicable bonus depended on the floor and, on Floor 12, the half. These bonuses are incentives, not proof that one character or team is universally best.

How Windlash Moon worked
The cycle’s Windlash Moon effect reportedly accumulated stacks when party members triggered Swirl. After four stacks, it triggered a shockwave that dealt True DMG. Stacks could be gained no more than once every 0.1 seconds, and the shockwave could occur once every six seconds. In other words, a Swirl did not each cause an immediate shockwave: the effect required four stacks and had its own trigger interval. HoYoLAB cycle summary.
Applying the bonuses to your teams
- On Floor 11, consider teams that can make productive use of Anemo or Cryo damage, since the stated bonuses applied to all party members.
- On Floor 12, match the first half’s Anemo bonus and the second half’s Normal Attack Cryo bonus to characters and rotations you can actually field.
- Do not treat the Cryo modifier on the second half as a general bonus to every Cryo ability; its stated scope is Normal Attack Cryo DMG.
Varka: what is confirmed, and what is not

Those summaries do not establish Varka’s exact skill multipliers, best artifact set, strongest teams, or pull value. The Anemo bonuses in this particular Abyss cycle are not enough to conclude that players should invest in Varka: a temporary floor modifier is not a general character evaluation. This guide therefore does not assign him a build or rank him against other characters.

The Radiant Moongecko is identified in the available summaries as a new field or world boss in Luna V. The material available here does not verify a complete attack list, resistances, weaknesses, or an optimal party for the fight.
