Its first-phase Event Wishes featured the debuts of Mualani and Kachina alongside Kaedehara Kazuha’s rerun. HoYoverse also posted a Phase I events preview listing on August 26, but its accessible notice does not establish the activities’ names, mechanics, rewards, or schedule.
What Version 5.0 Phase 1 featured
Version 5.0 was titled “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn.” HoYoverse announced it as the update that introduced Natlan, described as Genshin Impact’s sixth major nation. The version’s release date was August 28, 2024. HoYoverse’s Version 5.0 announcement identified the Phase 1 Event Wish characters:

- Kaedehara Kazuha: rerun.
The same announcement distinguished the second half of the version, which brought the debuts of Kinich and the Raiden Shogun. It did not establish exact dates or server times for the two halves in the available announcement excerpt.
