October 2024 leak-community posts teased a Chasca kit, but their accessible titles do not reveal enough to verify the rumored abilities. HoYoverse later confirmed that Chasca debuted in Version 5.2 with an airborne Soulsniper play style, multi-enemy targeting, and elemental conversions. That release confirms what her kit became—not what the earlier rumor specifically claimed.
What did the Chasca leak say?
Two user-posted leak-community references appeared in October 2024: “Chasca offline beta kit,” dated October 3, and “Chasca NA, Skill, and Burst,” dated October 8. Their titles suggest discussion of her normal attacks, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst, but the underlying posts are not accessible in the sources available here. The titles alone do not establish the posts’ detailed claims or identify a leaker. Reddit leak-community references
What does Chasca’s released kit do?
HoYoverse’s November 10, 2024 announcement for Version 5.2 identifies Chasca as a five-star Anemo bow wielder. It describes her Soulsniper as enabling aerial combat and says it can load up to six bullets and hit multiple enemies. Some attacks split into homing bullets, and bullets can undergo Elemental Conversion when Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro characters are in the party. The announcement also says that having Chasca in the party allows Phlogiston restoration by eliminating enemies. HoYoverse’s PlayStation Blog announcement
In that announcement, HoYoverse Studio Technical Director Zhenzhong Yi described the weapon this way: “Her trusty firearm, the Soulsniper, allows her to float in the air and fire bullets of different elements in battle.”

Elemental Skill and aiming
A November 8 recap of the Version 5.2 livestream says Chasca can ride and control her gun during Nightsoul’s Blessing. It describes a charged attack that enters a special aiming mode, locks onto a set number of enemies, and fires up to six Shadowhunt Shells. This is a secondary recap of the livestream, rather than the official announcement’s broader kit description. DotGG’s Version 5.2 livestream recap
Elemental Burst
The same recap says her Elemental Burst fires a Galesplitting Soulseeker Shell that splits into six Soulseeker Shells. The accessible leak-post titles do not provide enough information to compare that released detail with what the rumor originally said.

Was the Chasca kit leak accurate?
There is not enough accessible evidence to give the rumor a point-by-point accuracy verdict. HoYoverse’s later reveal confirms the released character’s abilities, but it does not show whether the October posts accurately described them. The sound conclusion is limited: leak-community posts about Chasca’s kit existed, and her official Version 5.2 kit was subsequently described by HoYoverse.
