To ascend Xianyun from level 1 to 90, prepare 46 Cloudseam Scales, 168 Clearwater Jade, the full Vayuda Turquoise gem set, three scroll types, and 420,000 Mora. Raising all three talents to level 10 is a separate investment: it adds Gold talent books, more scrolls, Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom, three Crowns of Insight, and 4,957,500 Mora.

Clearwater Jade and Cloudseam Scale are the largest distinctive ascension requirements at 168 and 46 respectively. The guides categorize Vayuda Turquoise as the Anemo gem requirement, the three scrolls as enemy drops, Gold books as talent materials, and Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom as a weekly-boss talent item.
