A community post circulated a model attributed to leaker Mero before the official presentation, but that post does not verify where the asset came from or whether it was final. The available evidence does not establish specific changes between the leaked material and Dahlia’s released appearance.
What the Dahlia model leak actually establishes
A Reddit thread titled “Dahlia model via Mero” records community discussion of a purported Dahlia model, including comparisons with earlier concept imagery. That establishes that the leak was discussed by the community; it does not independently authenticate the image, show that it came from game files, or identify its development stage. The community thread should therefore be treated as leak context, not as confirmation of an asset’s provenance.
Some thread wording also suggests a possible eye-appearance change, but a post title or reaction is not proof that a feature was altered. Without reliably attributed versions of both assets to inspect, claims about changed eyes, hair, outfit details, or other model features remain unconfirmed.
What HoYoverse officially announced about Dahlia
In its Version 5.7 announcement, HoYoverse identified Dahlia as a new four-star Hydro support character and the Deacon of the Church of Favonius. HoYoverse’s announcement is the primary source for those character details.

- GENSHIN IMPACT Mondstadt Themed Series Character Stand - Dahlia
PlayStation Blog’s Version 5.7 post describes Dahlia as a Hydro sword wielder who protects party members with his Shield of Sacred Favor. The PlayStation Blog announcement supplies that gameplay description. These official descriptions confirm his released character identity and broad gameplay role, but do not document a technical model rig or exact proportions.
What is known about Dahlia’s in-game model
The Genshin Impact Wiki classifies Dahlia as using the medium male model. This is a secondary reference classification, not a technical specification published by HoYoverse. The wiki’s Dahlia gallery indexes character materials, but an indexed gallery alone does not establish a verified comparison with the leaked asset.

Can the leaked model be compared with the released version?
Not confidently from the available evidence. A reliable comparison would require the original leak image and corresponding official released material, with enough context to establish that the images show the same asset type and development stage. The reviewed sources do not support a feature-by-feature change list, so claims that a particular detail was removed, revised, or finalized would go beyond what they establish.
For readers searching “Dahlia model changes” or “Dahlia model leak Mero,” the key distinction is between a community-attributed leak and the official character presentation. The former documents fan discussion; the latter is the dependable reference for Dahlia as released.
