This spoiler-inclusive walkthrough covers Gerudo Sanctum’s main route, both statue tributes, the Bow Link fight, the Big Key, Mogryph, and the optional 50-rupee chest. The dungeon moves between its interior and an exterior section in the Still World, so expect to revisit the waypoint as you collect the Hawk and Elephant Statue Echoes.
Enter Gerudo Sanctum and clear the opening rooms
The entrance becomes accessible after you drain the sand in Cryptic Cavern. Return to the desert and enter the Sanctum; inside, follow Link into the Still World rift.

- Climb around the wind cannons. When a gust blocks the route, use Bind on a boulder and position it to interrupt the airflow.
- Work through the lever and timed-gate room, then use Bind to rotate the door and reach the Small Key.
- Take the left branch for the Flying Tiles room. A Boulder Echo can shield Zelda as the tiles crash; once they clear, open the chest for 20 rupees.
- Use the Small Key to continue. Learn the Snake Statue Echo and defeat the Mothulas in the next area.
Cross the conveyors and get the Dungeon Map
On the conveyor belts, use Bind to pull wooden boxes out of the way. In the lower section, use Holmill to dig through the sandy tile and reach a chest containing a Golden Egg.
The nearby door requires two tributes, and the adjoining clue room points toward one of them. Visit the side room and defeat the Poe to receive the Dungeon Map. In the clue room, use a Wind Cannon to blow away sand and uncover the Elephant Statue clue.

- Save the kingdom of Hyrule, this time with the wisdom of Princess Zelda! The people of Hyrule are being swallowed by strange crevices that have arisen, with a certain swordsman among the missing. Now it's up to Princess Zelda to save her kingdom in a new story from The Legend of Zelda !
- Team up with Tri and use the power of Tri's scepter to create "echoes", which are copies of objects found in the environment. Then recreate these echoes whenever you want to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.
- Create echoes like blocks of water to reach new heights, bridge old beds, throw rocks at enemies, or find your own creative combination of echoes to do everything your own way. You can even create monster echoes to fight alongside you in combat!
Place both tributes and get the Big Key
- Return to the two-tribute door.
- Place the Hawk Statue Echo and Elephant Statue Echo on the two floor markers.
- Pull the plug to drain the sand and open the route onward.
- In the next room, use Bind on the wheel mechanism to align the openings in the rings.
- Once the rings line up, open the revealed chest for the Big Key.
Defeat Mogryph
Mogryph’s charge is the key opening to exploit: put a statue in its path so it crashes into the obstacle and becomes stunned. Attack during that window with Echoes or Swordfighter Form, then prepare to repeat the tactic.
- Sand attacks: Keep moving to avoid the initial attacks.
- Burrow and charge: As Mogryph burrows, position a statue in its route. Attack when the collision stuns it.
- Quicksand: Favor lighter-colored sand and keep moving so you are less likely to be pulled under.
- Airborne attacks: Watch for whirlwinds and dives, evade them, then resume the statue-and-stun cycle when Mogryph charges again.
