What Sony announced
The collection includes two full console bundles, two standalone controller designs and Gold console covers. The Gold and Black designs are inspired by the game’s fictional depiction of Ezo (now Hokkaido) and traditional Japanese visual art, according to Sony.

What comes with each console bundle?
Each bundle includes a limited-edition PS5 console with a disc drive, a matching limited-edition DualSense wireless controller and a voucher for the digital Standard Edition of Ghost of Yōtei. The voucher also includes preorder bonus content: an in-game mask and seven PSN avatars featuring concept art of Atsu and each member of the Yōtei Six.

- Model Number CFI-2000
- Includes DualSense Wireless Controller, 1TB SSD, 2 Horizontal Stand Feet, HDMI Cable, AC power cord, USB cable, printed materials, ASTRO’s PLAYROOM (Pre-installed game)
- Vertical Stand sold seperately
Redeeming the voucher requires a PlayStation account and an internet connection, according to the PlayStation product page. A vertical stand is sold separately. The bundle’s game copy is digital, so the included disc drive does not mean the game itself comes on a disc.
Gold vs. Black: how the designs differ
Gold: kintsugi-inspired
Sony says the Gold design draws on kintsugi, describing it as a traditional process of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and gold. The console design incorporates hand-drawn map icons and Mount Yōtei; the matching controller spotlights Atsu. Sony’s Jason Connell, creative director at Sucker Punch, said the design also references the kintsugi-style effect on Atsu’s Ghost mask and brushstrokes reminiscent of her sumi-e paintings.

Can you buy the controller or covers separately?
Yes. Sony announced that both Gold and Black Ghost of Yōtei DualSense controller designs would be sold separately. The Gold console covers are also separate accessories; they are available in versions for PS5 slim and PS5 Pro. The Black console was announced as a bundle, not as a separate set of console covers.
