Ghoul Garden Part 2 was an October 2025 expansion for the original Grow a Garden, not a current event in the later, similarly named Grow a Garden 2. The community-maintained update log lists it as update 1.28.0, dated October 16, 2025; a recent unofficial guide likewise distinguishes the original game’s 2025 content from GAG2. The event is over, so the mechanics and reward rates below are historical rather than a current schedule or guarantee.

What was Ghoul Garden Part 2?

The update expanded the original Grow a Garden’s Halloween content with two main activities: timed tasks at the Dead Tree and a Grave Digging activity. Both offered random rewards. The update log also records new seasonal plants, a pet, gear and other items. A retrospective guide says the event had concluded by February 2026.

The update log is community-maintained rather than a developer announcement. It is the available source for the update date and named additions, so those details should be read in that context.

How did the Dead Tree quests work?

Players completed timed tasks associated with the Dead Tree for a chance at Weeping Branch and other random rewards. Completing a task did not guarantee the headline seed.

How to get the Weeping Branch seed

During the event, the route was to complete Dead Tree tasks and hope for the seed in the reward pool. IGGM and GAMES.GG both reported a 0.5% Weeping Branch chance in 2025. That is an unofficial, guide-reported historical rate—not an official drop-rate guarantee, and not evidence of a current way to obtain the seed.

IGGM’s reward table also reported x50 Candy Corn at 11.34% and x3 Godly Sprinkler at 10.08%. These figures are third-party claims; the community update log confirms the Dead Tree activity and random rewards, but does not establish its probabilities.

How did Grave Digging work?

Grave Digging let players use shovels to dig for rewards such as seeds and gear. IGGM’s historical guide says players started with 10 shovels, that shovels regenerated every five minutes, and that each Gravedigger appeared for one hour. These are reported mechanics from an unofficial guide, not a verified schedule for a future rerun.

Reported Gravedigger rewards

IGGM’s 2025 reward table listed Spooky Egg at 23.26%, Spooky Crate at 17.44%, Halloween Gear Box at 11.63%, Crow at 8.14% and Hex Serpent at 2.33%. These are guide-reported historical probabilities, not official guarantees. GAMES.GG also describes the digging activity, but its additional strategic details—including mound indicators and paid extra shovels—are unofficial. They are not a reason to spend Robux.

Dead Tree or Grave Digging: what was the difference?

Activity How players participated Reward pool What was certain?
Dead Tree Complete timed tasks Weeping Branch and other random rewards Task completion; not a particular reward
Grave Digging Use shovels to dig Seeds, gear and other listed rewards A dig; not a particular reward

The available update log confirms both activities but does not establish a definitive rotation. GAMES.GG and IGGM describe the Dead Tree and Witch as alternating, with the Dead Tree appearing for four hours, while guides differ on digging-window timing. Treat those schedules as inconsistent third-party reporting, not a reliable timetable. If the event returns, use the in-game event information for its actual schedule and rules.

What plants, pets and items did Part 2 add?

The community update log lists these new plants:

  • Weeping Branch
  • Blood Orange
  • Mummy’s Hand
  • Wisp Flower
  • Zombie Fruit
  • Candy Cornflower

It also names Goat as a new pet and lists the Spooky Crate, Halloween Gear Box, Halloween Radar, Suspicious Soup and Witch’s Broom among the new items. The log notes a Ghostly Gadget gear stand, more stock at the Spooky Seeds stand and additional pets at Creepy Critters.

Is Ghoul Garden Part 2 live now?

No. The evidence identifies it as original-game content from 2025, and a retrospective guide reported that the event had ended by February 2026. It should not be confused with Grow a Garden 2 or treated as a live event. Any rerun, schedule or reward availability would need confirmation from current in-game information; the historical guides do not establish one.
