Girls und Panzer has one new standalone console game announced so far: Girls und Panzer: All-Star Tank Carnival, planned for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. Headlines about “2 new games” are not supported by the official announcement, which covers only this one title.
What D3 Publisher announced
D3 Publisher published its Japanese-language announcement on October 9, 2026, distributed through PR TIMES. It names All-Star Tank Carnival as a tankery action game based on the anime franchise, with release planned during 2027 and the Nintendo Switch 2 as the platform. The publisher says the Switch 2 footage shown is still under development, and that further details will come through the official website and D3 Publisher’s official social account.
A Gematsu report published around the same announcement independently corroborates the title and its link to Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match.
Why the “two new games” framing does not hold
Nothing in the publisher’s announcement or the contemporaneous report identifies a second new standalone Girls und Panzer game. If a second title is announced later, it should be confirmed through D3 Publisher’s own channels before it is treated as fact. Until then, All-Star Tank Carnival is the only new game to report.

- Drift action carried over from Dream Tank Match and developed further.

These are the publisher’s own descriptions. No hands-on play has been used to confirm how the controls or matches feel, so treat them as announced intentions rather than verified gameplay.

Relationship to Dream Tank Match
The announcement says staff associated with Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match are making the new game, and it points to drift action as the feature that links the two. The reference establishes a development and gameplay connection. It does not provide a full credit list or a feature-by-feature comparison, so readers should not assume the two games match in content, modes, or structure.
If you are comparing the two, the points that can be checked against the announcement are the platform and timing, the online player count, and the drift-oriented tank combat. Price, edition, and availability cannot be compared yet.

The game is unreleased. There are no preorders or retail listings to compare yet, and anything offering a purchase before the publisher confirms pricing should be checked carefully against D3 Publisher’s official channels. Dream Tank Match is the closest existing reference point for readers interested in the franchise’s previous tank game; verify the edition, platform, and region before buying, because the announcement does not confirm current stock.
