The reported Globle answer for Thursday, October 8, 2026, is The Bahamas. This answer is date-specific: Globle changes its mystery country and resets guesses at midnight in your time zone, so it may not match the puzzle on another day.
What is today’s Globle answer?
Current answer guides report The Bahamas for October 8, 2026. Twinfinite’s dated guide gives the answer and these clues: the Bahamas is an archipelagic country in the Caribbean, part of the Lucayan Archipelago; its name begins with B; and its capital is Nassau. A second answer page reports the same country. The live game page does not expose the answer in its indexed text, so this is an answer-guide report rather than an answer independently confirmed from the game interface.
The date matters. The official FAQ says the mystery country changes and guesses reset at midnight in the player’s time zone. If you are playing on a different date, look for that day’s answer.
How do you play Globle?
- Open Globle and enter the name of any country as your first guess.
- Read the color shown on the globe. Warmer colors mean your guess is geographically closer to the mystery country; paler colors mean it is farther away.
- Use the result to choose another country in a promising region, then repeat until you identify the answer.
Globle’s official FAQ defines distance as the minimum distance between countries’ land borders along Earth’s surface. Water borders and territories are excluded. The game explains the proximity feedback, but the official material does not establish a guaranteed opening guess or one optimal strategy.

How to read Globle’s clues
Think of each guess as a geographic signal, not a directional arrow: a warmer result tells you the guessed country is nearer to the answer by the game’s distance measure, but it does not by itself identify which direction to search. Compare the locations of your guesses and use the strongest proximity result to narrow your next choice.
