Goat Simulator 3’s Gifts from the Rifts update was a free release announced on April 1, 2025. It added 28 gears and two events. The announcement listed PC, console and mobile platforms, while Nintendo Switch players received a separate timing note.
What did Gifts from the Rifts add?
Coffee Stain North’s version 1.1.4.0 notes list 28 new gears, including the Plushie Goat, costume pieces, wings, a jetpack, feet and horns. The update also introduced two events: Birthday Crack and Birthday Present. The announcement framed the release around Pilgor’s 11th birthday.
Alongside the new content, the notes mention an Add-On tab in the main menu and a shorter completion time for the Grass Hair gear instinct. They also record fixes involving crashes, multiplayer, gameplay, gear and platform-specific issues.
Was the update free, and when did it release?
Yes. Coffee Stain North announced Gifts from the Rifts as a free update on April 1, 2025. Its release page says it was out then, although the Switch timing differed.

- They’ve added mini-games too, lots of mini-games (seven is a lot, right?)
Which platforms were listed?
The announcement linked to Steam, Epic, PS5/PS4, Microsoft Store, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. Its header labels the scope “PC + CONSOLES,” but the mobile links and mobile-specific patch notes show that the release also covered iOS and Android. The listed platforms should not be taken to mean the update arrived on every platform at the same time.
When did it reach Nintendo Switch?
The April 1 announcement said Switch players should expect the update soon. The page later added Switch update notes dated April 7, 2025, covering the content and bug fixes as well as Switch-specific fixes.

Is this still the latest Goat Simulator 3 update?
No. The official updates and patch notes index lists later releases, including Baadlands: Furry Road on November 19, 2025, and Buck to the Future on April 1, 2026. The latter is a paid add-on, not part of the free 2025 update; its announcement describes 22 gears, six instincts and one playable goat. The index also lists the Nintendo Switch 2 release on April 1, 2026, and Google Play Pass availability on August 14, 2026.
