Goat Simulator: Remastered was unveiled during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20, 2024, with Coffee Stain announcing a 2024 release. The game later launched on November 7, 2024. Its reveal centered on updated visuals, a redesigned goat-selection menu and a bundle of original-game DLC.

The available official details establish the announcement and the remaster’s headline changes, but not a scene-by-scene account of what appears in the trailer. No named developer quotation accompanied the announcement details.
What changed in the remaster
- Visuals: Updated textures and lighting, plus new foliage, visual effects and animation updates.
- Goat selection: A reworked mutator menu lets players choose goats in-game.
- Physics: Coffee Stain said some physics-based bugs remain intentionally, preserving part of the original game’s unpredictable behavior.
The publisher lists changes to visuals and the mutator menu, but those claims do not establish a particular frame rate or performance improvement over the original.

The remaster includes all DLC from the original PC version, as well as Buck to School, described in the announcement as previously mobile-exclusive. The included packs are:

Release date and platforms
Goat Simulator: Remastered launched on November 7, 2024. The publisher marked it out now on that date, and Steam lists the same release date. An official FAQ result lists Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Steam, Epic and Windows Store.
