Absorb an enemy’s power and use it against them
The advertised sequence is to weaken an enemy, build energy, absorb one of its abilities, and spend that power in a Godbreak attack. The mechanic gives combat a tactical choice beyond simply attacking or avoiding damage: players are encouraged to identify opportunities to take an enemy’s power and decide when to deploy it.
Cancel moves to keep combos moving
The game promotes cancelling actions mid-move and chaining strikes, dashes, and abilities. If that system is as responsive as advertised, it could reward players who react quickly and adjust their combos rather than commit to a fixed sequence. The official description calls the game “frenetic,” but that is promotional language, not an independent assessment of how combat feels.

Builds develop over successive runs
Weapons are unlocked through runs, while archetypes bring their own weapons and traits. The stated structure encourages trying different combinations instead of treating a run as a single fixed setup. Can you play GODBREAKERS solo, and how many players can join?

That supports solo play and online groups of up to four players. The cited sources do not establish whether matchmaking is available, how active it is, or whether the game supports cross-platform play.

The basic premise may suit groups that enjoy coordinating around enemy openings and sharing the action, while solo players can pursue the same advertised combat and run-based progression alone.
