For Gold Ore Locations in Crimson Desert, start at Anvil Hill Cave in southwest Demeniss. Find the canyon bottom just east of the Gold Ore map icon, break the golden boulder at the entrance with Force Palm, then keep striking each deposit until it crumbles. To uncover more locations, defeat Marni’s Excavatron at Karin Quarry and use the Gold Vein Map.
Where to find Gold Ore early: Anvil Hill Cave
PowerPyx’s March 24, 2026 guide places the cave in southwest Demeniss, at the bottom of a canyon slightly east of the Gold Ore map icon. A golden boulder blocks the entrance; use Force Palm to break through. The guide estimates a run can yield 15–20 ore, but that is an estimate rather than a guaranteed amount.
- Travel to the Gold Ore map icon in southwest Demeniss and look for the canyon just to its east.
- Descend to the canyon bottom and locate the gold-colored boulder blocking the cave.
- Use Force Palm on the boulder to open the entrance.
- Inside, strike each ore deposit repeatedly until it breaks apart and disappears.
How to mine deposits without leaving ore behind
Gold Ore is found in caves. The fan-made Crimsondesert.app companion database identifies a pickaxe as a mining tool and also lists Force Palm as an option. Deposits may take two to four strikes to break apart, according to that database and PowerPyx; do not stop after the first hit. These are third-party guides, not official Pearl Abyss documentation.
How to get the Gold Vein Map
Marni’s Excavatron at Karin Quarry reportedly drops the Gold Vein Map. The item is used in-game, not a printable map. According to the companion database, using it reveals 10 Gold Ore mining locations on the Pywel world map. Treat that figure as the map’s reported reveal count, not a definitive count of every mine or deposit in the game.

Published lists differ, and the available third-party sources do not establish a definitive total. Gamer Guides’ database page lists eight interactive map entries, with these named descriptions:

- Desert Lake Gold Mine
- Sandpeak Gold Mine
- Mistshard Cave
Gamer Guides also lists one additional mine entry without a name in the page text. Separately, a DPJ video description advertises nine locations: Anvil Hill Cave, Sand Peak Gold Mine, Crimson Mountains Gold Mine, Cliff Side Gold Mine, Desert Lake Gold Mine, Second Finger Cave, Silver Wolf Cave, Guardians Cave, and Mistahard Cave. That list is a secondary lead: only the video’s search-result description was available, not the page itself. Naming and counts may vary depending on whether a source counts caves, map icons, or individual deposits.

Using an interactive map
If you want to track deposits beyond the map item’s reveals, TH.GL’s third-party interactive guide offers spawn points, tracking, and tips. Its page displayed 164 known Gold Mineral entries across one map and a last-updated date of September 24, 2026. That is the site’s tracked-entry count, not evidence of 164 distinct mines.

The Crimsondesert.app companion database says 100 Gold Ore can be smelted into one Gold Bar at a town blacksmith, and that Gold Ore is also used to upgrade jewelry and accessories. Check your in-game crafting and upgrade requirements before making a trip specifically to gather ore.
