It ran from November 10 through November 23, 2025, allowing players of Free Fire and Free Fire MAX to earn leaderboard credit from eliminations in ranked matches. The highest-ranked players shared a total pool of 150 million Google Play Points.
The event is over, so players cannot newly enter that specific competition or claim its original prize pool. Google’s broader Play Games Leagues system may host other competitions, but each league has its own availability and rules.

Update: The Free Fire League described here ended on November 23, 2025. Any page presenting it as an active promotion in 2026 is outdated.
What was the Google Play Free Fire League?
Google created the Free Fire League through Google Play Games in partnership with Garena, the publisher of Free Fire. It was part of Google’s Play Games Leagues program, which uses game-specific leaderboards and rewards to turn selected games into limited-time competitions.
#1 Best Overall
- No returns and no refunds on gift cards. Good for use on the US Google Play Store only. Terms apply - see below.
- Google Play gift codes can be used on the Google Play Store, the official app store for Android, to purchase apps, games, and more.
- To redeem, enter code in the Play Store app or play.google.com.
- Endless games to explore: Find and play old and new favorites – from mind-bending puzzles to epic quests and more.
- Just the app you’re looking for: Millions of apps means millions of ways to get things done, learn something new, and maybe even meet someone special.
The promotion was separate from Garena’s own esports ecosystem, including Free Fire World Series events. It was also not an in-game Free Fire event offering diamonds, skins, or Garena redeem codes. The announced reward was Google Play Points.
Google had previously used the league format for games such as Subway Surfers. The Free Fire promotion extended that system to both Free Fire and Free Fire MAX.
Read Google’s original announcement.
When did it run?
- Start: November 10, 2025
- Last day for counted play: November 23, 2025
- Current status: The specific event has ended.
The November 23 closing date means players should not follow old launch coverage that tells them to join the league now. Google may run other Play Games Leagues, but the existence of the general program does not keep this 2025 Free Fire competition open.

How did scoring work?
- Players joined the league through Google Play or the league website.
- They used a Google Play Games profile and connected that account inside Free Fire or Free Fire MAX.
- They played ranked matches during the event period.
- Eliminations in those ranked games contributed to their leaderboard score.
- Higher leaderboard positions received a larger allocation of the available reward pool.
Google confirmed that play on mobile and through Google Play Games on PC could count. The accessible announcement does not establish a complete scoring formula for every mode or explain whether wins, placement, assists, damage, or other statistics affected the result. It is therefore inaccurate to say that every Free Fire match counted or that all eliminations were treated identically in every mode.

What were the rewards?
The total prize pool was 150 million Google Play Points, distributed among top players according to leaderboard position. That figure described the aggregate pool—not a guaranteed 150 million points for each player, and not a payment available to everyone who played.
Google Play Points are Google’s rewards currency. They are not the same as:
- Free Fire diamonds
- Character skins or other in-game items
- Garena redeem codes
- Cash esports winnings
- A guaranteed cash-equivalent payout
The practical value and redemption options for Play Points depend on the user’s country and Google Play account. Players also need to be enrolled in Google Play Points to redeem eligible league rewards. Google says rewards may need to be redeemed before they expire, but the accessible official sources do not establish a definitive redemption deadline for this event.

How players joined when the event was active
Google directed eligible players to find the league in the Google Play app’s Play Points Perks area or through the Google leagues website. The process was generally:
- Open the Google Play app and go to Profile icon → Play Points → Perks, or visit leagues.withgoogle.com.
- Sign in with a Google Play Games profile or create one.
- Join the available league.
- Connect that same Google Play Games account inside the participating game.
- Play ranked matches while the event is active.
- Return to the league page after rankings were finalized to check for an eligible reward.
These steps describe how the promotion worked while it was live. They cannot reopen the concluded 2025 event.
Eligibility and account requirements
Google’s general Play Games Leagues guidance identifies several possible restrictions:
- A Google Play Games profile
- Eligibility for Google Play Points in the relevant country or region
- Meeting the applicable minimum age
- An account that is not managed by a school, parent, employer, or another organization
- A supported country or region
- The latest version of the participating game
- The correct Google Play Games account connected inside the game
Seeing the general Leagues feature does not guarantee access to a particular competition. Google says individual leagues can be limited by country, account, age, and other eligibility rules, and some may be visible only to a limited group of users.

For any future league, update the game before playing. Google specifically recommends using the latest version so performance can be tracked correctly.

This list was specific to the Free Fire promotion. Google’s later general Play Games Leagues help page gives a different availability list, including the United States and Israel while omitting some markets named in the original announcement. That difference matters: general league availability should not be treated as proof that the 2025 Free Fire League was available everywhere on the general list.

Common problems and what they meant
Your score did not appear
First check that the Google Play Games account used to join the league was the same account connected inside Free Fire or Free Fire MAX. Installing the game or playing normally was not necessarily enough for league tracking. Also confirm that the game was updated and that the matches were ranked games.
The reward was not visible immediately
Leaderboard results may require time to finalize. If the redemption option was missing after rankings were finalized, Google’s general guidance indicated that the league page might need additional time to update.
The league was not available
Check country or region, Play Points eligibility, age requirements, account-management restrictions, and the league’s own rules. A player can have access to Google Play Games Leagues generally while being excluded from a particular league.
Someone offered to unlock the reward for a fee
Do not pay a third party to activate Play Points or Free Fire rewards. Use Google Play and official Garena pages only, and do not provide account credentials to sellers promising diamonds, leaderboard placement, or delayed rewards.
What can players do now?
Players cannot join the 2025 Free Fire League or earn its original 150-million-Point pool now. They can visit Google’s Play Games Leagues page or check Google Play → Profile icon → Play Points → Perks to see whether another competition is currently available to their account and region.
Any replacement Free Fire event would need its own official announcement and rules. The existence of a current league page alone does not confirm that another Free Fire competition is live.
